Couple of Brazilians going at it in this bout at featherweight - One is a Jits based fighter in Alex White against a MT based fighter in Lucas Martins.... Hmmmm?

He’s actually coming back up to featherweight after dipping down into the bantamweight pool. White, meanwhile, is coming off a victory in his UFC debut, a Performance of the Night KO over Estevan Payan.
While White has learned to use his hands and not rely solely on his jiu-jitsu, in which he’s a blue belt, he’d be best served to avoid striking and especially the clinch with the dangerous Martins.
White is a last-minute replacement due to an injury to original combatant Jim Alers, though the switch shouldn’t prove too difficult for Martins. Expect perhaps a TKO victory in this one..

From 2010- He is 12-4 with losses to Bendo-Pettis -Nate Diaz-And Dos Anjos.....He is Also coming off 3 straight wins....I just think Cowboys wins have been more impressive than Millers...and that the matchup is good for Cowboy Anything can happen but I don't see Miller as the Favorite...

I shift thru them looking for facts on the fighters and then post here that catch my eye to get feed back. If you're saying the facts aren't always accurate and that Jay Anderson has no MMA back ground then I won't read or post up his crap anymore...

No on White, yes on Martins, as of last night when I posted on this fight.. Just started capping it last night.

As of this morning I have seen only highlights on White now.. Still leaning towards Martins as a dog play..

I care less about his lack of martial arts experience and more on how lazily written his "breakdown" appears. It seems as though he looked up each fighters' records and their bio and came up with his own conclusions. Maybe I'm down on Martins more than most people, but just watching him fight and seeing how bad his striking defense is, and watching Alex White's last fight, it seems very clear to me that Alex White will have an advantage standing. I wouldn't call Martins "dangerous" after he beat two chumps, and I certainly wouldn't call a fromer pro boxer with a blue belt in BJJ a jits based fighter.
