Nick Newell is the man, but that line's dead on. Justin Gaethje has what it takes. Great fight though... I'll definitely be watching.

Can't defend the Nick Newell chokes - if the fight remains standing Nick Newell will be in trouble, but the way he presses and closes the distance I don't see that happening..

I'll say again Nick has a chance in this one, his choke is undefendable... It's just like Rhonda's Rousey's arm bars in comparison but X2... A true weapon inside the cage..

Am I gaurantee'ing his victory no, but I'm giving him a "solid" chance to win when most of you guys aren't in this thread.. He's yet to be beat and this is his biggest test yet....

I'd play him at +800 or better, but I think you might be letting your love of his Cinderella story appeal get in the way of your gambling acumen here. Does he have a chance? Of course he does. Is that a large enough chance to warrant a bet that only pays out 3:1? I sure don't think so.

Newell is mediocre with a quick td, but looks like guys cant defend the choke. nothing there to pry the arm off with. Thats the advantage. Gaethje could get caught if he's not smart.

Nicks actually got a pretty good double, and when he gets his nub hook and other good hand locked in a clinch standing you are going down.. His wrestling is up to par and surprising solid for being supposedly at a disadvantage......

I became a believer after his 5th pro fight.. I won't bet against the handicap..

The only way Newell wins is if Gaethje puts some money on Newell & throws the fight. If he throws the fight he will lose via disqualification from illegal strikes to the back of the head or some other way he gets disqualified. If it happens just remember that the fix was in.
