Gus has seemed hittable at times, he was trading with Diabate and got tagged a bit, but they have comparable reach. Gus was also getting jabbed by Hamil in the first round. I actually haven't watched the fight between him and Shogun, but Shogun actually has pretty fast hands when he's throwing hooks on the inside.
Manuwa doesn't really throw combinations and seems to rely on the left hook a lot. He had a good game plan against Diabate, he positioned himself so his right hand lined up directly with Diabate's midline, and pressured Diabate, standing at pretty close range. But even then, Manuwa had trouble landing. I recall him throwing the right hand once and falling well short.
Gus has a great chin, the only time I've seen him hurt is when that spinning elbow from Jones connected. And he has a real reach advantage. Manuwa should have trouble connecting. I give Gus a major boxing advantage, but Manuwa could score points with kicks, since he's quite active with them. I think the fight might be closer than Gus vs. Thiago Silver, because Silva doesn't kick a lot.

why would i care who is the favorite? I bet on who i think will win. if it happens to be a fav put more money on or stick in a parley. this is basic MMA betting. my simple minded friend.
