Yeah I'm going big on Thompson and I'm an Aussie... far more experienced and accurate striker. Don't see the ground game being a factor. My book has him as a slight favourite at the moment, all over it.

Yes thompson. and i knew that without even looking at stats. yay me! i would be really surprised if whittaker gets knocked out he has a good chin, so hes just gonna be walking forward with KO power for three rounds. wonderboy looked like he broke in the matt brown fight. i don't think he takes mma seriously to be honest. even though he has potential.

IIRC Whittaker got rocked by Colton Smith at least once. Thats poor chin or poor defense or both and against an experienced kick boxer, thats a worry. Agree re KO power. One big unknown is how much Whittaker has improved, I made mistakes in the past betting against young guys who for obvious reasons show big improvements early in their careers. I'm still going strong on Thomspson, can't wait for the fight!

I read he has had a 7 week training camp in canada with fighters like rory mcdonald etc. this fight could go either way. i cant wait 2 brotha!!!
