Yeah, and not sure how many times I have to say hitting someone with the lower thigh is a "knee" strike. 9/10 times "knees" land with the lower thing, whether they're standing or on the ground. Rarely do knees actually land with the knee cap. A lower thigh strike IS a knee strike.

You might as well be arguing that a forearm strike shouldn't count as an elbow, and I'm pretty sure every ref would.
