#177Sheilas previous manager picked two people to be part of her team for her fight (due to work permit...brazil) without telling her in advance. Thats why there will be only one trusted person in her entourage named Andre.
I dont know if those 2 are FROM the UFC or other guys. Either way...It doesnt look good anyhow for Sheila.
Just unload on the under/ITD
I recognize Alexis Davis he is a manager not a coach at all. This is good news!!!Comment -

#178Wait did the other person she doesn't trust/like actually show up? That would be weird if he is there and sheila doesn't want anything to do with him.Comment -

#179Sato are you a Gaff fan? I cant believe she is so young. I think 125 is her weight. I think she got to the UFC too fast. A couple fights at 125 in invicta and she could be champ.Comment -

#180Only trusted guy she says is Andre.
Yeah Sheilas number 1 strength is aggressiveness. Other than that I dont see anything special.
She probably isnt gonna stay in the UFC for too long. She will get cut...do maybe 10 fight outside...ad MAYBE come back if shes improved enough.
I definitely she the potential of her improving...
Im not that big of a fan but I admit lil interest is there since its rather special seeing someone from germany in the ultimate...let alone a girl.Comment -

#182Sad Romy Ruyssen retired, her Gaff and Marloes are all the same size pretty much could have formed a small womens camp in europe to get better.
Romy absolutely stole on Miesha Tate at the grappling worlds. SOOOO much talent only 23 years old and retired.Comment -

Shes able to unload on them a little more but they gotta watch out in return.
Theres basically no WMMA talent in germany man...
I think theres a big market here for managers/scouts. Many years ago I was part of the biggest MMA community in germany...and their mod on their website...I even had contact with the boss who puts up sponsors throughout the country for MMA related events.
Said big things are comin' and hes glad Im with them ...anyhow something new got in my life and the contact was lost.Comment -

#184She trains with guys only. I saw an article about MMA/Sheila at a respectable media outlet and she said she only trains with males.

One reason I am so sold on Sara McMann. She trains almost full time with Zach Makovsky. Former Bellator champ. Sara is actually a little bit bigger than him so they can train almost full out and I think it makes her such a better fighter.
Whatever happened in your life mang, I'm sure you can make new contacts or reestablish the old ones. I hope mma really takes off in Germany. Has to be talent not yet tapped into. Especially for women.Comment -

#185It's always nice to have a local guy to cheer for, especially for us Europeans. I've trained with John Kavanagh, never met Conor, but I'm really blown away by him. He's an amazing individual. Couldn't really ask for a better representative of Irish MMA.
Cathal Pendred on the other hand...Comment -

#190), posted in my thread. Complete mismatch. If Conor's skill wasn't enough, the size difference was.
I can't stand Pendred's attitude, considering that he'll never be anything big in MMA. Conor has all the potential in the world, though.
Dwill does.

#202Plenty of people have won decisions in Brazil, even in fights that werent blowouts. Its the razor close ones that's the problem. See Dunham v Dos Anjos. Also fighters can definitely get psyched out by the hostile environment, jet lag, getting the last days of your training/preparation ****** with, not having your normal corner with you, etc etc. The deck is stacked against them, but if the skill mismatch is sufficient and the fighter mentality is as well, it's not impossible at all.Comment -
