When Mayweather picks next opponent, does anyone see odds at less than -300 no matter who the opponent is?

Only people who keep it close are Manny and Canelo
Trout might be close.... other than that, everybody will be wide.
Alexander, Danny, Khan, Peterson, Matthysse, etc.
At least start out wide and slowly lower as fight night approaches

id bet that even manny and canelo would start out at -400....canelo maybe slightly less if its at 154....but floyd might throw in a rehydration clause if its at 154...canelo would come in at 170 or maybe even higher if it were without one

Alexander Povetkin is -3000 against an undefeated Andrzej Wawrzyk. Andrzej doesn't look like a world-beater, and that is really expensive. I recommend letting this one pass.

                    matthysse

i remember the absolute killing i made when he fought humberto soto...i think matthysse was like -170 or so if i recall.....it was such an obvious mismatch....

i dont know what to think when looking at both matthysse and garcias resumes....but i think maybe lucas might start out as a slight favorite because theres a perception right now that hes a monster

Delvin Rodgriguez is -380 vs. Freddy Hernandez at +315. Hernandez has just had some losses, but they were against hard guys like Erislandy Lara. There may be value to the short-end better because neither guy has much power, but both throw alot of punches. Should be a good fight.

Floyd vs. Canelo: Is anyone getting a different over/under than 11 1/2 rounds? I'm seeing +260 on the under. Does this seem inconsistent to you considering the strength/size advantage for the 22 year-old was a snag in the negotiation process?

No. Fedor would've tossed him around like a ragdoll before 09....now, however, fedor is a fat shell of his former self and anderson is fighting future UFC hall of famers like Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar.

Does anyone believe Alfredo Angulo stands a chance against Erislandy Lara this weekend?
Odds are steep on Lara, at -460 and up. Angulo is given the puncher's chance at around +350.
My pick is Lara: it should be easy money.
                                  What do you think?

Angulo's style gives Lara wet dreams. He's slow as molasses and I think he was born with cinderblock feet.
Angulo was getting stopped in his tracks by a WW in his last fight and looked horrible.
Lara should take this handily.... it all depends on how he fights.
I think he'll take a decision... but who knows. Stylistically he should win easily

Because Seth is chinny but could still outwork Banks to a decision

No change at all on the Broner-Malignaggi odds. No one seems to believe it will be competitive. Does anyone see Broner being postured for a spot on the Mayweather tour if he wins convincinly?

Is anybody in on Gavin Reese tonight? The odds aren't bad, but he was pounded by Adrien Broner last time. I'm just not sure it justifies -255. Is anybody seeing better?

I think he wins... hell... I think the under will play nicely in this.

Deontay Wilder is a massive favorite over Siarhei Liakhovich at -1175. Siarhei has lost 2 of his last 3, but is well-schooled and far more experienced than Wilder. It may be a "safe" bet, but I'm not convinced.

Do any of you see anything impressive about him other than a right hand? He is being groomed, but seems to have a dark side that doesn't match the image (though that is speculation at this stage). He is -1175 against one Siarhei Liakhovich on August 9.

With less than 20 career bouts, Pulev is a massive favorite over Thompson, who has been beaten twice by heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, and no one else since dropping a 4-rounder in 2000. At +400, there appears to be value on Thompson.
Pulev has allegedly been avoided by Tomas Adamek, and Tyson Fury chose to take on top-contender David Haye over the unbeaten Bulgarian.
With less than 10 KO's to his record, the -550 Pulev has one key victory on his tally, an 11th round dousing of unbeaten Peter Ustinov.
The 41-year old Thompson feels that a knockout in 8-rounds is the ticket for him in this scheduled 12-rounder. Considering the odds, Thompson may need a knockout to win, but based on his last 2-fights against David Price, the Washington D.C. heavyweight may be well capable of delivering such a result.
