To say he's "added kicks" because he threw kicks against Bisping is misleading, too. Any healthy human can throw a kick. His kicks looked pretty bad in that fight.

That's the thing, though; I never said Belfort isn't an effective fighter or that he can't knock guys out (because he can brutally knock out a lot of guys, as can an extremely poor striker like Roy Nelson), but people seem to attribute the ability to knock a guy out as "good striking". Cheick Kongo is a much better striker than Roy Nelson (maybe not so much in MMA anymore), but if someone was getting KO'd in that fight, it was almost always Kongo. The fact that Vitor Belfort isn't a technically sound striker doesn't take away from his ability to knock guys out. Likewise, his ability to knock guys out doesn't prove that he's a good striker.
