#75anyone here going to bet on the presidential election?? obama was -180 several months ago before a republican candidate was selected (should have pounded it). then the line steadily worsened until he was -520 last week. it seems people think romney won yesterday's debate b/c the line is now -275.
anyone following the race? do you think there is value in obama at -275? i'm thinking about throwing something on this. i just dont think romney has what it takes.Comment -

#81Originally posted by DirtyXGabriel, serious thought here... Most of the poster's who do well on here, receive props without seeking it. If you post your plays and bets beforehand -ticket numbers and dollar amounts, your "Outstanding Skills" will speak for themself dude. No need to say how great you are, because if you truly are a top dog as you claim, people will recognize and speak on it. Just saying..
And I only say "how great I am" whenever I'm looked down on.Comment -

Obama is slick everywhere but I expect this fight to go to the judges, where it favors him. He makes this an ugly fight and wins with a few takedowns and stalling out the end of each round in top position.

Besides, people tune into the debates to root for their guy. I'm not a strong believer in independent voters. People who didn't have their mind made up 6 months ago aren't the people who are going out to vote anyway.Comment -

#96Originally posted by NunyaBidnessObama at -275 is a steal. 538 has him at 86%. Most sites were -500 and worse the day before the debate (which Romney handily won). I have positions on obama at -130, -150, -165, -175, and -200. As well as lots of positions on individual states. Sites must have gotten pounded on the Romney side after the debate. Guess its time for another round of max $25 wagers.
damn you got some nice positions there. havent seen lines for individual states -- i take it these arent on 5D or bovada?Comment -

#97Originally posted by gabeI don't know anybody besides myself who profits from wagering. Compare us, though. This past weekend w/ Bellator + UFC, I went 12-4, 18-5 if you include over/unders. (Kingsbury's chin letting him go over 1.5 was the only loss) Made a pretty good profit. (not as good as it woulda been a couple weeks ago, when I was able to parlay MMA) Then I went 3-0 in NCAA, and 5-1 in NFL. On top of that, I killed it in tennis. What did your weekend look like?Comment -
