Nah. I am a flat rate bettor mostly unless I really, really love a pick - in which case I will note that this is an X-amount of units play. Otherwise, over the long run I think betting the same keeps things even when you go through the highs and lows.
Sounds great.

6.1.12: Nationals Team Total Over 4 [-115] Good match-up here against Mike Minor who is really struggling. Minor has given up four earned runs or more in six straight starts and has a road ERA of 7.27. The Nationals got him for four runs in his last start. The opposition has scored at least four runs in seven of his ten starts. Washington scored seven runs or better in each game of a three game series with ATL on the road earlier in the week.

6.1.12: Pirates Team Total Over 4 [-110] Randy Wolf goes for Milwaukee. He hasn't pitched overly poorly lately, but between him and the bullpen - the opposition has scored at least four runs in nine of his ten starts. He has given up at least three runs in eight of those ten. Watch out for Pedro Alvarez & Neil Walker tonight. Pedro has bopped a couple dingers off Wolf and Walker has 4 hits in 13 ABs off Wolf, all doubles.

Pirates did it up real nice. If Minor stays on track to start tomorrow, will play the Nats total we missed out on today.

6.2.12: Rockies Team Total Over 5 [-135] Rockies have scored five or more in nine of their last ten and have an impressive run of three straight double digit scoring games. Harang goes for LA. His Coors Field ERA is 6.40 and he gave up five runs earlier this year in a start on the road against the Rockies. Dodgers have given up six or more in three straight.

Not looking good today. Rockies had the bases loaded in the 5th and didn't get squat and haven't done much outside of that.

6.3.12: Reds Team Total Over 4.5 [-120]
Reds get their 2nd crack against Jordan Lyles this season. Lyles limited Cincy to three runs over six innings, but the Reds wound up scoring three more off the bullpen en route to a 6-5 win. In three of Lyles' four starts, the opposition has put up at least six runs by the end of the game. Lyles has had trouble going deep in games and that could be a recipe for runs today with the Houston bullpen taxed lately and having a 5.03 ERA in their last five. Houston has allowed at least five runs in seven of their last eight, while the Reds have tallied at least five in three of the five meetings with the Astros this season. Lyles also comes in having given up 12 runs in his last two starts.

6.5.12: Tigers Team Total Over 4.5 [-115] Tigers get a shot at Ubaldo Jimenez. His road era is 9.00. In five road starts, the opposition has scored SEVEN or better in four of five. He gave up three in his only to start to Detroit this season, but that was at home. At Comerica, he is 0-4 with a 9.78 ERA in four career starts. Cleveland has given up five runs or more in eight of their last ten. If they get to Ubaldo early, they get a shot at the bullpen which has a 5.00 road ERA.

any thoughts with the Angels and Rangers team totals both being set at 4.0 against mediocre pitchers?
keeping in mind that the Rangers are the away team so they'll get the full 9 innings to hit

I'm blaming that Nationals rainout for throwing off my chi last week. Since then, pretty crappy results. Was weighing Angels or Rangers tonight and chose the wrong one again apparently.

6.7.12: Mets Team Total Over 4 [-115] Mets gets a shot at Wang who is still building stamina in his 1st starts back. He has failed to last more than four innings in either start so far. He gave up four runs in his most recent start @ Miami. Both starts have seen the opposition post four runs or better. Mets have scored four or more in eight of their last nine.

6.7.12: Orioles Team Total Over 4 [-105] O's against Buchholz who they have already tagged for five runs in each of the two times they faced him. Buccholz has also given up at least four runs in five of six starts @ Fenway Park this season.
