because Danks is complete dogshit. RD will back me up on this one. Masterson has been shaky thus far, but is a much better pitcher. also like under here, may wait on that for better number - 8' should be available at some point, and if not, 8 at strong +money number.

well-said, LTA, my initial statement oversimplified the situation. i just recall a discussion that i had with RoadDog recently (he's expert on all things White Sox) when he said that Danks is simply unbackable right now. of course, his xFIP is nearly two runs lower than his ERA and Tribe struggles vs LHP and Danks has a decent history vs Tribe, so you make a very good point that a solid 6 or 7 innings against the Tribe could be just the cure for what ails him. in fact, both Masterson and Danks have solid histories vs respective opposition tonight, so i'm tempted to take the under, but given that Danks has yet to turn in a start with less than 3 ERs this season, maybe i'll just pass and enjoy the watch. thanks for your insight, LTA, and BOL to you tonight as well.

Danks is not only unable to get lefties out right now, but he's the most wild around the plate he's been since he's been a member of the White Sox. Like I've said a million times on here, you cant be a good left handed pitcher if you cant get lefties out. Cleveland can throw 6-7 at you in a night. I hate betting against the Sox but I probably will tonight.

rv soon. I am sitting out this years derby, but if i can give you any advice
go for a price. Box 5 horses in a trifecta and throw in some longs. Bol

Is it just me or is this a tough card?

this may be one of the only days of the season when i don't play any totals. i greatly prefer unders to overs, but we have two of the best over umps (T Welke and McClelland) out there as well as Dale Scott (a solid over ump). Eddings is also out there. problem is, i have plans starting at 5 so won't be able to wait for ump assignments. my favorite under is OAK/TB, but if you sub in Welke or McClelland under my model, that goes from being a solid under to a coin flip. looks as if i'll have to sharpen my pencil and focus on sides.

it's not just you. as i just posted, i pretty much have to avoid totals today, which sucks. that's okay, i think that we can find 2-4 sides plays. i initially lean Nats (-1 or RL), Tigers, Dbacks, O's, Astros without really capping them. just going to have to devote some time today. fortunately, i have the time today.

i agree with all three unders, but if any of them have McClelland or T Welke behind the plate (or maybe Scott), then i probably no longer like it. there is not a single under that i would like today if it had one of those guys behind the plate.
