i think that has some legs. i was also eying Yanks + Braves and Yanks + Brewers, but decided just to play Yanks straight.

this sets up to be a huge afternoon/night. 7 MLB plays, including 4 at 10 pm and going to buddy's house to watch Aussie Rules match that starts at 11:45 tonight on Fox Soccer Plus channel (we're backing Carlton -41'). thank goodness tomorrow morning is a late tee time.

Hey Biff, what does your model have on the Dodgers total? I made a play on the over because J.A. Happ is a turkey and both offenses looking solid. Schaffer, Altuve, Martinez, Lee is a pretty solid 1-4 for the Stros, I think that will become more apparent as the season wears on.

i have a range of 8.95-9.15 runs for that one. i don't like playing overs too much (other than certain umps), but that game is easily my favorite over today. Dodgers should hit Happ, and agree that Astros lineup is surprisingly solid now that they have adopted the approach of seeing a lot more pitches this season. hope we get it.

Thanks. This line opened at 7 and immediately went to 7.5 at around midnight. Both pitchers very hittable. Both offenses on the up-swing, IMO. Like this one a lot. And I'm with you on not playing many overs. I think this may be my first over of the season. Could be completely wrong about that though haha. Thanks for the numbers.

I missed this post... yeah I tried to avoid talking much on the forums, I tend to play too many games when I start interacting and listening to everyone's opinions and see all the interesting lines and what not... but NCAAB is over (which I did the best I've ever done in any sport) and its baseball and I'm clueless, so I've just been skimming everyone's posts to cherry pick ones that sound solid, its working so far... I went gigantic (20u) on the Penguins game tonight so if that hits you can expect me to hang around a few more months (run this up or run out of moola one or the other.... gotta keep my cashouts from NCAAB in storage so I have big $$$$ for NCAAF)... BOL

i finished last season of MLB up a handful of units, not a ton but not bad for my first season of bases capping. i was up about 50u at one point then had a really bad downswing. same with college hoops this season (up over 50u before downswing), and didn't finish positive there (down about 13u) which was incredibly disappointing. no excuse for being up that much and giving it all back. need to better this season.

I understand man. Im not a big time better like some guys. Im a college student and just pick my spots. I watch a ton of baseball and have gotten better capping with some stats. I used to play all long shot parlays(low risk high reward) but lately Ive adapted to playing a unit size and going with it. You, LTA, Roaddog, RedScot, etc are all very insightful and provide quality info and plays I usually agree with.
