wish i'd booked CWS/OAK under last night at -105, but wanted to wait on weather and ump. weather is not good, but okay - 7-10 mph wind to CF. bigger concern was ump with total under 7. well, did some looking on that. of umps that could conceivably make trip to west coast, there are two over umps (McClelland and Wendlestedt). i would not even consider an under with McClelland, but he work in Seattle yesterday, so his crew can't follow White Sox to Oakland. so possible umps are Iassogna (decent under), Wolf (mild under), Fletcher (neutral), Marquez (neutral) and Wendlestedt (mild over). Wendlestedt would be bad news, but not fatal, while Iassogna would be great news and Wolf good news, and a 4/5 chance of either neutral or good news. i'll take those chances and lock in now at -115 rather than waiting until later and paying more juice or even getting stuck with 6.

changed my mind on the FF vs full-game total with Cards/Cubs. Garza pitches well at home and against the Cards, and pitched deep into a lot of home games last season. Cubs pen is my biggest concern and may not see them much tonight, esp with Cards having depleted lineup (Berkman out and Freese and Jay not 100%, Holliday struggling and Tyler Greene batting 2nd). should be rough weather for hitting, decent wind from LF and cold.

I really like the Yanks tonight. Holland has had no success against the Yanks and their big bats are batting are .380ish against him. The Rangers big bats bat round .270ish with the majority of at bats from Michael Young whos really the only one whos had decent success against CC. Yanks for 2* sounds good, but it may be worth 3*.

CC excellent with extra rest over last three seasons, while Rangers off 9-game road trip including 3 in last 2 days. Beltre out for Rangers. gotta love Yanks numbers against Holland.

Watch out for Royals to take jays, Morrow allows .250 off him with current Royals and has a 11/9 K-BB ration whereas Chen has 12/3 with .175 BA off him... What do you think about the over in the cubs/cards? both pitchers have bad numbers against opposing hitters.

i will admit, i don't like the idea of going against in final game of home stand trying to stop 0-9 home start.

i like under in Cards/Cubs. cold and wind blowing in from LF. Garcia doesn't have the best numbers against Cubs (but Cubs lineup just atrocious batting .231 overall and .238 vs LHP but OBA under .300), but Garza solid numbers vs Cards (and Cards lineup really depleted). BOL whatever you decide, but i'm on the under.
