I just got done looking at the depth charts for these two teams and oh my phucking goodness! Its got to be one of the worst rotations I've seen in a while.Comment -

Be proper, wait for Brian Fuentes to blow this in the top of the eighth, then you can call them Choakland.Comment -

#86I've always had a problem w/ George Sherrill.
Dude just looks like a judge on the Food Network of some sort. Just doesn't look like a major leaguer.Comment -

#87love how George Sherill still can find a job, but people with talent are getting told, "We are not hiring."
Sherrill is good if you want to lose, or are already losing. He has not had MLB stuff for about 3 years now.Comment -

#94How impressive would that be if Bartolo can go the distance-8 ip, 86 pitch count.
Had a no hitter going into the fifth, also.
Finish this thing off Bartolo, and you can have two burritos.Comment -

#99Man didn't see this thread till right now. Posted a couple in another thread that nobody was reading. LOL I had A's in this one all in for my last $200. Feel like I got way lucky in this one. I mean this offense looked like there would be no way they would score. Nice thing is I drafted Belfour also and started him this week because he had 4 games compared to Bailey's 3 for Boston, plus wanted to root for someone on these opening games. I'm in a h/h league not roto. Way to go A's. Thank u.Comment -

#103i feel like i went home from the party early and missed all the action. that game literally put me to sleep last night.
Here are my observations from the last two games. McCarthy is going to finish the year with a low 3 era. The guy commands his fastball, has a great sinker, and throws his offspeed pitches for strikes. Bartolo looked like he took a time machine to 2005. He commanded both sides of the plate with his sinker/two seem. Balfour looked terrible in game 1 and I didn't get a chance to watch his appearance last night but i am assuming its a case of the only dialed in for save opportunities. Fuentes and Sherrill will both have era's in the 5's. Dustin Ackley is going to have a good year. The guy saw the ball well and has a great swing. Cespedis swings like juan uribe but has power. Ichiro will have 200 hits and both of these teams will be lucky to get to 75 wins. The A's and M's have 2 of the worst offenses in the MLB. Expect many games much like these last two.Comment
