I'm @ a loss for words. Bud Norris is a better pitcher, on an equally horrendus team.

From an intangible perspective, I do not think Big Z cares either. His comments 1.5 months ago practically intimated him quitting. Besides he is making about 30 million combined until the end of the 2012 season. With all the factors above I can not back this guy.

cubs have been home since the all-star break, they have circled this game for a long time coming now. the fight for last place is a big deal in the windy city.

Everyone is underestimating what a detriment it is to have a black hole batting 2nd in the order. Altuve is playing in his 2nd game.

Think about it this way: with altuve in the lineup and bud norris being a terrible hitting pitcher, it's like the Astros have TWO pitchers hitting in the lineup(one of which bats 2nd) and the cubs have none. Zambrano hits better than most of the astros lineup
