    Donnydoucher's baseball thread
I have been doing insanely well betting baseball this year, and figured my luck will either continue or I will hilariously fizzle out. Either way why not have an audience to see what happens. I started sports betting my freshman year of college and after putting my $20 dollar minimum deposit in bodog I thought I was good enough to never work a day in my life. 5 years and $6,200 in the hole later I realized I don't care how much you think you know, sports betting is pretty ******* difficult. Anyways I don't have any system or anything I have just been using my knowledge (I know recipe for disaster) and making picks and I have actually been really successful this season. I am creating this thread to track my progress more than anything, but feel free to tail, fade, give input, tell me to go **** myself, or share any hilarious jokes or betting stories.

I bet on Bookmaker.com so that's where I get my spreads
My two bets tonight were Straight Bet:Cubs/White Sox H+R+E Under 27.5 1.15 to win 1
Parlay: Rockies/Indians Over 8.5 with Tampa Bay Moneyline +125 1 to win 3.50
    Won 4.5 units

Haha I know it's easy to post wins after the fact, I was only doing it to show what type of wagers I make. Again this is for tracking progress more than anything

Live Bet: Twins -7.5 1 to win 1.05

Twins winning 8-0...better odds because its going into Bottom of the 5th and the Giants are batting. But its 7-9 coming up and I feel Pavano will get through this inning no problem and grabbed the better odds when I had the chance

As expected Pavano went through the bottom of the lineup unscathed and the line went from +105 to -128...so thats why I grabbed it last half inning

RECAP: Twins ML (+125) and White Sox ML (-130) 1 to win 3.02..Twins stay hot and beat up Bumgarner (9-2) , Better team prevails behind Sox's Buehrle and bullpen (3-2) WIN
Rays/Brewers Over 7.5 and Marlins ML (+120) 1 to win 3.20..Brewers do their part and score 5 but Greinke too strong as he fans 10 (5-1), As I expected Marlins can't continue to lose as Vazquez scatters ten hits with none earned (5-2) LOSS
Phillies/Cardinals H+R+E Under 25.5 1.15 to win 1..Great bet despite the loss Halladay only gave up 1 in 6IP and McClellan gave up 1 in 7IP, was only at 14 combined until Cards bullpen had a disastrous 8th where they gave up 9 runs and still only ended up at 29 total (10-2) LOSS
Twins -7.5 Live Bet 1.35 to win 1..Stupid bet, way too risky, Twins already up 8 don't know how either team will respond after an 8 run first, put bet down before start of the 5th, left Pavano in too long but that can be expected to save bullpen with 8 run lead, stupid bet flip of a coin LOSS
Twins -7.5 Live Bet 1 to win 1.05..the only thing stupider than putting a live bet down in an 8 run game is doing it twice, put it in after the top of the 5th, got roped in with the good odds at +105 knowing Pavano would take care of the bottom of the Giants order, he ended up doing that, but still a coin flip and stupid to put down with money already on this bet LOSS

RECAP: Phillies (-155) and Reds (-142) 1 to win 1.80..Cardinals are a .500 team without Pujols, Phils are one of the best teams in baseball for a reason, Lee dominated (4-0 final), Career minor leaguer Gordan actually pitched better than I thought as Yanks pen gave up 6ER but either way Cueto only gave up 1ER with 2H in 7IP as reds cruise to victory (10-2 final) WIN
                  Mariners (-115) and Rockies (+120) 1 to win 3.11
..Usually try to hit bigger on one parlay a night pairing an underdog with a slight favorite or with another dog, thought Bedard would come up big after tough loss night before he pitched well but Mariners fell to Nats (2-1 final), Indians aren't a very good team picked the Rockies thinking they were getting good value at +120, thought their offense would show up more against Tomlin, lost by one (4-3 final) LOSS
                  Cubs/Sox (Davis/Peavy) Under 8.5 1 to win 1
..Davis was coming off good start against Yankees and although it was Peavy's first outing off DL figured he would fare well against non factor offense of the Cubs, Sox have good offense on paper but have rarely produced (4-3 final) WIN
Phillies/Cardinals (Lee/Lohse) H+R+E Under 25.5..Made this bet for the same reason I bet the Phils/Cards last night, two good starters going out there against a Pujlos-less line up and an offense with big names that hasn't produced (total was 18) WIN
Astros/Rangers (Myers/Lewis) H+R+E Under 29.5..Myers is a much better pitcher than people give him credit for and thought Lewis would have no trouble with bad offense of Astros, game went as I expected until Feliz gave up 4ER and blew the save in the 9th, but still won the bet handedly (total was 25) WIN

                    Bets for 6/23/2011

Parlay: Mariners (-125) and Giants (-180) 1 to win 1.80..Pineda is going for the M's and after a shaky start he turned it around last time against the Phillies, although Marquis can shut down the M's offense and I considered taking the under at 7, I don't think the Mariners get swept and pull it out behind the pitching of Pineda, I hate betting on games Lincecum starts because the lines are always skewed and have poor value with Lincecum being such a big name pitcher, the Giants still have a pathetic offense and lose more than win when he is on the bump, they are 5-6 on the year in games he starts, despite all of that I believe The Scumbag will build off his last start after struggling before that and SF will be able to scratch across enough runs against Duensing and the Twins

Parlay: A's/Mets (G Godfrey/Capuano) Under 8 (-115) and Diamondbacks (-117) 1 to win 2.47..The Comedian is unproven and is a bit of a coin flip only making two starts this year, his first start would have been a success if he could have found the plate more and kept his pitch count down but his last outing he only gave up 1ER on a solo homer in 7IP, I think he will have another good start, Capuano has been outstanding his last three starts and it helps facing a line up with Coco Crisp in the 3 hole, also does well at home in pitcher friendly Citi Field, Daniel Hudson is a great young arm that has shown he can pitch well against teams outside the NL West (I think I could throw 4 or 5 innings solid innings against some of those teams), people aren't really completely buying into the Dbacks yet, but I think they can definietely win tomorrow even though Paulino does worry me as he has pitched well as of late, i think the Dbacks have a good enough offense and win behind the strong arm of Hudson

Parlay: Phillies/Cardinals (Oswalt/Carpenter) Over 7 (-125) and Diamondbacks/Royals (Hudson/Paulino) Under 8 (-120) 1 to win 2.30..Oswalt and Carpenter are both big name pitchers that have been struggling this year, Carpenter is 1-7 and Oswalt hasn't been able to pitch late in many games, the line is so low because of the big names of Oswalt and Carpenter and neither team has exceptional offenses especially with Pujols out, but as said before both have struggled and this game will go over 7 runs, Hudson is a great young arm that has proven he can pitch against teams outside of the NL East, the Royals have a pretty streaky line up that I think Hudson will have no problem handling, Paulino has pitched very well with KC since coming over from the Rockies, posting a 2.33 ERA in his 5 starts, and has only given up 1ER in 11.2IP at home, I also have a bet on Arizona to win this game, I plan on it being low scoring finishing with the Diamondbacks winning 4-2 or 4-3

RECAP: Parlay: Mariners (-120) and Giants (-180) 1 to win 1.80..This game went similar to what I expected, but the Mariners could not pull it out, as I said earlier I thought this game was going under 7 runs, I didn't think the M's would get swept but they lost in the 9th on a sac fly, both Pineda and Marquis pitched well (1-0 final), Lincecum pitched great allowing 0ER in 7IP and striking out 12 and the Giants were able to scratch across 2 runs for the win (2-1 final) LOSS (-1 Unit)

                        Parlay: A's/Mets (G Godfrey/C Capuano) Game Total Under 8 (-115) and Diamondbacks (-117) 1 to win 2.47
..Both starters pitched well Godfrey gave up 2ER in 5.2IP and Capuano gave up 0ER in 7IP, expected a game like this in pitcher friendly Citi Field with two bad offenses (4-1 final), Hudson pitched well only giving up 3ER in 7IP, Clutch hitting with 3 RBIs with two outs and two strong innings from the bullpen helped the Dbacks win (5-3 final) WIN (+2.47 Units)

                        Parlay: Phillies/Cardinals (Oswalt/Carpenter) Game Total Over 7 (-125) and Dbacks/Royals (Hudson/Paulino) Game Total under 8 (-120) 1 to win 2.30
..Carpenter and Oswalt are both big name pitchers that haven't pitched well this year, I was worried because neither team has a good offense especially with Pujols out, but Oswalt did as expected giving up 4ER in 2IP before being pulled because of lower back pain, Carpenter actually pitched his best game this year and much better than I expected only giving up 1ER in 7IP to earn his second win of the season, Cardinals bats exploded in the 8th for six runs to make this game go well over (12-2 final), Hudson was shaky at first giving up three runs in the first four innings, but settled down to only give up three total in his seven innings of work, Paulino looked even worse in the early going giving up runs in each of the first four innings, but was still able to go 8 full innings allowing only 5 runs, it was 5-3 entering the 5th and I thought this game was going be go well over, some crucial double plays late in the game made it lucky for me to get out of this bet with a push (5-3 final) Some sites have it where a push and a win on a parlay constitutes a loss, but luckily bookmaker gives you the push along with the winnings for the part of the parlay you won PUSH/WIN (+0.80 Units)

Bets for 6/24/2011 Busy so doing short write ups

Parlay: Red Sox (-165) and Reds (-126) 1 to win 1.88..Lester rarely loses after a Red Sox loss, offense should handle Maholm, Volquez is risky and hasn't been pitching well this year, but O's are the worse team and Jakubauskus is a bum

                          Parlay: Cubs (-110) and Jays/Cards (Morrow/Westbrook) Game Total Under 8 (-105) 1 to win 2.73..
Cubs can handle left handing pitching and Dempster should be able to beat the Royals, both Morrow and Westbrook are either dominant or get hit pretty hard I think both will have a solid game and the final will be something along the lines of 5-1 or 5-2

Parlay: Braves (-110) and Rays (-140) 1 to win 2.27
..Lowe should take care of terrible offense of Padres who don't play well at home, Shields is coming off two complete game shut outs so he should have no problem with Astros lineup only thing that worries me is Rodriguez has been pitchign well for the Stros, but Rays should scratch across enough runs for the win

Straight: Nats/White Sox (Zimmermann/Jackson) H+R+E Under 26 (-115) 1.15 to win 1..Zimmermann has been good this year and Sox only have good offense on paper, have big names but have been struggling to score runs, Jackson can be dominant any night and when he isn't usually involves walks which doesn't hurt the H+R+E as much

                                    Bets for 6/27/2011

Parlay: Dbacks (-178), Angels (-140), and Mariners (-119) 1 to win 3.93..All better ball clubs that are playing at home, Mariners worry me because of their lack of offense, but Bedard has been pitching well lately and they haven't been able to get him a win so I think they will rally around him tonight and come through with enough runs

Parlay: Dodgers (+110) and Royals (+140) 1 to win 4.04..Twins have been hot lately, but Billingsley has the stuff to shut any team and I am rolling the dice hoping that happens tonight, Padres are not a good home team and often struggle to score runs in Petco, Francis has sucked this year, but I hope he can pitch well enough to keep his team in it tonight and have the Royals pull off the victory in the later innings

Parlay: Reds/Rays (Leake/Hellickson) Game Total Under 8 (-110), Dodgers/Twins (Billingsly/Blackburn) Game Total Under 8 (-120), and Indians/Diamondbacks (Talbot/Kennedy) Game Total Under 9 (-120) 1 to win 5.42..The odds makers are giving these offenses too much credit and the pitching match ups too little of credit, I am confident all these games will go under and would have put more on it if I wasn't such a pussy

Parlay: Rangers (-171) and Dbacks (-152) 1 to win 1.63..Wilson will turn it around after a bad start last outing, and the Rangers are just a better team than the Astros, Hudson has been great all year and the Dbacks will not lose two in a row to the Indians especially after their tough loss last night

Parlay: Red Sox (+105) and Brewers (+120) 1 to win 3.51..Beckett hasn't pitched in 2 weeks because of the flu, but the Phils offense is a good game for him to come back against and I think the great Red Sox lineup will be able to get enough runs against Lee, I am picking this game based on the pitching match up and the value of the bet, because the public likes the bet the Yanks getting the Brewers at +120 is good value, the only thing that worries me is Greinke is a mental midget (he had to take a year off because of panic attacks) and he might not be able to pitch under the lights of Yankee Stadium

Parlay: Reds/Rays (Cueto/Price) Game Total Under 7 (-110) and Indians/Dbacks (Tomlin/Hudson) Game Total Under 8 (-105) 1 to win 2.73..The reason for picking this first game is pretty obvious, I was surprised the total was this high, Cueto has an ERA of 1.63 and Price is a perennial Cy Young candidate with Cincinnati's two best bats (Votto and Bruce) being lefty should make things easier, I think game will end 3-1, Both pitchers have sub-4.00 ERAs facing average offenses, Tomlin worries me some but the main reason I am making this bet is because of my confidence in Hudson, think the game will end 5-2 or 4-3

Parlay: White Sox (+111) and Marlins/A's (Vazquez/Gonzalez) Game Total Under 7 (-105) 1 to win 3.12..Hammel is a bum and Floyd has the potential to pitch a complete game shutout anytime he is on the bump, liked the value here so I'm rolling the dice, I don't think the bookmakers are giving this match up enough credit, Vazquez still has the ability to pitch good games especially facing an offense like Oakland and Gonzo has a 2.59 ERA, it also always helps in the pitcher friendly Oakland Coliseum, I think the game will end 3-1

                                        Forgot to add this

Straight: Red Sox/Phillies (Beckett/Lee) H+R+E Under 25 (-125) 2.50 to win 2..I was surprised to see this line being so high with a match up like this, I am guessing the bookmakers were expecting Beckett to struggle after his long time off and the Red Sox's offense to be aggressive in the first couple pitches of the at bat to prevent falling behind Lee, none of the aforementioned information worries me and I think the total will easily go under, the only thing that I don't like is betting on H+R+E with a line as high as -125 as it has much of it value taken away, either way I think it will be well under and am very confident in cashing this bet

Recap: I should never complain about a winning day, but tonight sucked because a couple BAD breaks prevented a huge day

Parlay: Rangers (-171) and Dbacks (-152) 1 to win 1.63..First Game:Not writing much about the Rangers game, as expected Wilson pitched well and the better team won (Final:7-3), Second Game: Game went as I expected with both pitchers throwing well and Hudson getting another quality start 2ER in 8IP, I hate when managers go to their closer even when a start is dealing and has enough in the tank to finish the game, Putz blew another save in the homestand, but the former red Sock great Willy Mo Pena bailed him out (Final 6-4) WIN (+1.63 Units)

Parlay: Brewers (+120) and Red Sox (+105) 1 to win 3.51
..First Game: The thing I worried about is exactly what happened Greinke showed why he is a pussy and folded under the bright lights unable to find the plate, giving up 7ER in 2IP (Final 12-2), Second Game: I thought the Red Sox line up would do better against Cliff Lee and Beckett would handle the Phils struggling offense, Beckett pitched alright, but Lee dominated not giving up his first hit until the 6th (Final 5-0), Just a bad bet in which the opposite of everything I thought would happen happened LOSS (-1 Unit)

                                          Parlay: Reds/Rays (Cueto/Price) Game Total Under 7 (-110) and Indians/Dbacks (Tomlin/Hudson) Game Total Under 8 (-105) 1 to win 2.73
..First Game: This game was looking great with the Rays winning 1-0 on a solo homer going into the 8th inning, somehow both teams combined to score 6 runs in the final two innings to cause the game to push as the bullpen combined for 2 blown saves (Final 4-3), Second Game: Another game that was looking great with only 4 runs being scored going into the bottom of the 8th, the teams somehow combined for 6 runs in three half innings as Putz blew a save and both bullpens struggled (Final 6-4), Bullpens really screwed me over in both games with 12 runs scored in the final two innings of both games combined, very frustrating LOSS (-1 Unit)

                                          Parlay: White Sox (+111) and Marlins/A's (Vazquez/Gonzalez) Game Total Under 7 (-105) 1 to win 3.12
..First Game: Floyd pitched great only giving up 2ER in 7IP, but the terrible Sox offense failed to take advantage of facing a clown like Jason Hammel, twice being unable to score in innings with lead off doubles, after they should have won this game easily they find themselves tied in the 13th inning where Tulo scores on a bloop single to center field from first base! Let me type that again so I know I didn't read it wrong...a baserunner scored on a ball that traveled 110 feet and landed in between 3 players because the center fielder jogged in and than three hopped it to the plate because he didn't expect the runner to go all the way home, most frustrating game I have ever watched (Final: 3-2), Second Game: Exactly what I thought was going to happen did happen as Vazquez pitched great against the lowly A's offense and Gonzalez took care of the Marlins, I thought the bookmakers were under evaluating this match up (Final 1-0), White Sox ******* lost on a runner from first scoring on a single to center LOSS (-1 Unit)

                                          Straight: Red Sox/Phillies (Beckett/Lee) H+R+E Total Under 25 (-125) 2.50 to win 2
..I was surprised to see this line so high, Beckett pitched fairly well giving up 5H, 5ER, in 6IP as Lee dominated throwing a complete game 2-hit shut out game total finished at 14 WIN (+2 Units)

                                          Tonight: +0.63 Units

                                              Bets for 6/30/2011 Big Day

Big Play Straight Bet: Giants/Cubs (Cain/Zambrano) H+R+E Under 28.5 (-115) 4.60 to win 4..I was surprised to see this line so high, Cain is a great pitcher and Zambrano hasn't pitched poorly in over a month. Weather/wind shouldn't have that much of an affect in Wrigley today so I went with my biggest play to date.

Parlay: Yankees (-186) and Tigers (-235) 1 to win 1.19..The value of these bets on their own are not very good, but both teams are just significantly better and even though I realize its baseball and anything can happen I really don't see either team losing today. I don't need to explain why one would bet on CC and I think me and my group of friends could get a couple runs across Randy Wolf, Verlander has been absolutely amazing lately and I know that trend will continue as the Tigers will avoid the sweep

Parlay: Red Sox (+103) and A's (-166) 1 to win 2.25..Lester pitches great when he starts a game following a Red Sox loss, I know I wrote this exact same thing his last start and he ended up losing, but I like this bet alot not only with Lester on the bump but the Red Sox are too good a team to be swept, I was leery about betting on the A's with such a piss poor line because at any time their offense can be shut out, but I really like Cahill and think he has righted the ship after some bad outings

Parlay: Mets/Tigers (Pelfrey/Verlander) Game Total Under 7.5 (-115) and Cardinals (-140) 1 to win 2.20..I made this bet as a testament to how good Verlander has been pitching as of late, Pelfrey worries me agaisnt the Tigers offense, but I think Verlander will hold the Mets in check even though they have scored 52 runs in the last 4 games I think the final will somewhere around 5-1 or 6-1 Tigers, Jamie Garcia is pitching tonight, the Cards are just a better team, and the O's are trotting out Matusz who has a 6.85 ERA, Pujols or no Pujols the Cards should win this game 9 times out of 10

Parlay: Giants/Cubs (Cain/Zambrano) Game Total Under 9 (-105) and White Sox/Rockies (Peavy/Cook) Game Total Under 9.5 (-105) 1 to win 2.81..The -105 shows that the public is on the over for both these games, but as I stated earlier Cain is a stud and Big Z has been pitching well for over a month, as for the White Sox Peavy is pitching on 4 days rest after having to come in relief with Danks getting hurt on Saturday which worries me alot, but I hope he can give them 6 solid innings, me betting the under with Aaron Cook on the mound is more of a testament to how bad I think the White Sox offense really is

                                                      Recap:

Big Play Straight Bet: Giants/Cubs (Cain/Zambrano) H+R+E Under 28.5 (-115) 4.60 to win 4..Zambrano went on in the 2nd inning with lower back pain and after releasing Doug Davis earlier this week had no former or current starters who could carry the load so they had to go to the bullpen. When a team has to do this you usually don't see them pitch mediocre giving up 5 or 6 earned but instead one of two things usually happens: either the bullpen implodes and you have a middle infielder pitching to close out the game or you get out of character performances from a group of guys that come together to pitch great. Luckily for me it was the latter and I was able to win this game. It was well under with a combined 10 H+R+E going into the bottom of the 9th when the Cubs tied it to force extra innings. The teams somehow combined for 5 runs in the extra innings and the total ended up at 24. If this game would have gone over after being at only 10 with a half inning left, I would have stopped sports gambling for the rest of my life WIN (+4 units)

Parlay: Yankees (-186) and Tigers (-235) 1 to win 1.19
..If I had any kind of balls I would have parlayed the run line on both of these games, but I learned two things: (1) its easy to talk about bets you should have made six hours after the game and (2) I'm still a pussy WIN (+1.19 Units)

                                                      Parlay: Red Sox (+103) and A's (-160) 1 to win 2.25
..First Game: Lester took care of business going allowing 0ER in 7IP and got lucky with Hamels going out after the third with an injury (Final 5-2), Second Game: This game did not go as I expected, I thought Cahill would build off his last good start, but he struggled again not even making it through 5IP, it was also surprising to see the A's offense put up a comeback, I thought they might pull it off scoring 4 unanswered runs but they fell a run short (Final 5-4) LOSS (-1 Unit)

                                                      Parlay: Mets/Tigers (Pelfrey/Verlander) Game Total Under 7.5 (-115) and Cardinals (-140) 1 to win 2.20
..First Game: This game went as expected with Verlander dominating again, he pitched 7 innings of shut out ball and Tigers pen did the job only allowing 1 run in the final two innings, I thought this game would end 6-1 or 5-1 and it was close (Final 5-2), Second Game: not much to write about here, it was a little more high scoring than I thought, but Garcia still pitched a solid game and the better team won (Final 9-6) WIN (+2.20 Units)

                                                      Parlay: Giants/Cubs (Cain/Zambrano) Game Total Under 9 (-105) and White Sox/Rockies (Peavy/Cook) Game Total Under 9.5 1 to win 2.81
..First Game: I was really surprised this line was so high, as I stated earlier I don't think the bookmakers were giving this match up enough credit and the wind wasn't blowing out today; in fact it was blowing in making it more difficult to score, the teams scored a rare 6 runs after the 8th inning and the game was still comfortably under (Final 5-2), Second Game: This game was extremely frustrating, the Sox offense was failing to score with runners in scoring position all day, and Peavy kept working out of jams and pitched well except for a first inning 3 run homer by Tulo, thought this game was definitely going to hit under but the Sox poured it on in the later innings scoring 4 runs after the 8th, even going into extras it was 8 runs total, but I got the unlucky 2 run victory in an extra inning game causing it to go over by a single run (6-4) LOSS (-1 Unit)

                                                      Live Bet: Giants/Cubs Game Total Under 3 (-128) 1.28 to win 1
..If I am presented with this same bet in the future I will definitely make it again, there had only been 4 hits all game and they were all singles, pitching was dominating and the line gave me a 2 run cushion going into the 8th, so most times teams that have scored 1 run (and it was unearned) in 7 full innings wouldn't score two runs in two innings, I also wasn't too worried about the Cubs tying it and if they did most times it would be a push because most extra innings game end with only run being scored in the additional innings, caught some bad luck and the teams somehow combined for 6 runs after the 8th with the Cubs getting the extremely rare three run victory in an extra inning ball game LOSS (-1.28 Units)

Bets for 7/1/2011 Really like a lot of unders tomorrow

Parlay: Giants/Tigers (Bumgarner/Penny) Game Total Under 8.5 (-110) and Dbacks/A's (Colmenter/Harden) Game Total Under 7 (-120) 2 to win 5..First Game: Bumgarner's record does not reflect how well he has pitched all season, he has 3.84 ERA which is a bit off because of his meltdown in Minnesota where he gave up 8ER in 0.1IP. Aside from the horrendous start Bumgarner hasn't pitched less than 6 innings or given up more than 3ER, if not for that one start he would have a 3.06 ERA, as for Penny he has pitched well as of late and I think he can more than handle the piss poor Giants offense, Second Game: I am making this bet for 4 reasons (1) Colmenter's 2.76 ERA (2)A's are second to last in runs scored in the majors (3) Oakland Coliseum is a pitchers park (4) The A's have a good enough bullpen to offset Harden's inability to last deep in ballgames

Parlay: Nationals (-140) and Braves (171) 1 to win 1.72..First Game: Gorzelanny is coming off a great start and the Pirates struggle to score runs and the Nasty Nats play well at home, Second Game: Jurrjens should be a strong candidate for Cy Young with his 10-3 record and 2.07 ERA, Braves have a good enough offense to score enough runs against Guthrie and the Orioles

Parlay: Indians/Reds (Masterson/Arroyo) Game Total Under 9 (EV) and Marlins/Rangers (Sanchez/Ogando) Game Total Under 8.5 (-105) 1 to win 2.90..First Game: I am extremely confident in this game, thinking the bookmakers aren't giving this match up enough credit, Masterson has pitched well all season as shown by his 2.98 ERA in the AL, and although Arroyo can be hit or miss I am making this bet mainly because of my faith in Masterson, Second Game: The bats seem to heat up in Texas which does worry me, but I am making this bet because Sanchez is a forgotten pitcher that no one realizes is 6-1 with a 2.82 ERA, and I hope to God Ogando's last few outings were a fluke and the league hasn't figured him out yet, I am betting on him again hoping that he returns to his early season form

Straight: White Sox (-120) 2.40 to win 2..I will admit I am making this bet mainly because I am a Sox fan and I ******* hate the Cubs, this is a huge homer pick, but there is still a good chance the Sox win tomorrow, Jackson has has had some of the best starts in the league this year and I'm rolling the dice and hoping he has an outing that makes you wonder how the hell this guy ever loses a game as opposed to one of the start that has caused him to be traded 3 times in the last 2 years, oo yea almost forgot and Randy Wells is one of the worst pitchers in the league and the only reason he is in a major league rotation is because the Cubs only other options are Doug Davis and Rodrigo Lopez
