No the best way would be to go by the number you post...really no way to backtest by closing numbers! Because not everyone will catch the closing #'s...

So when you post ...there really needs to be a #...just like in my thread I often post based on the opening line...(but I often get a better line or average in) the books often bloat the opener knowing people have to leave for work...cannot access internet whatever...

I would say the best way would be to post a # when you post play...

You seem to know a lot about baseball...why not apply it and stop attacking? Seriously could this work...probably...just like all this guys posting the 1st inning system...

I agree with you.. if I had any idea how the system works, I would do that. Like I said though, am just posting the info I am given. This is how the system creator said it was backtested, so this is all I can go by. I have been trying to get my bets in as close to game time as possible so I can try to get that closing line... but I agree, it would be a lot nicer if he gave an actual number to go by. Its similar to JM NBA... how do we know what number he goes by before buying 3 points? guess its a gray area

Yea man... definately tail lightly for now.. I recommend whoever follows tail lightly to start as well. Thats what I am doing... being extremely careful to start. But hey, who knows, maybe it could work out and be a nice system to add to the arsonal

I will just play C bets at this time and try to get the best line I can. It is sort of like JM NBA...if the play wins with the opening number you were suppose to bet that one. If it won with the closing number that was the one you were suppose to use. Obviously there is some risk here and if the better is aware of it than it's on them. I have no problem with that.

dlunc3 this is just a suggestion but maybe when you post the plays pick one good book like Pinny and put the opening line as the play. Then state **totals are subject to change...you may or may not get the same total** Something like that. It's up to you.

Hey guys...A buddy of mine that I met through this forum a few years back, named John Hedgepeth, presented me with this system a few weeks back. This guy spends hours upon hours backtesting and working on trying to find winning systems constantly..If history holds true, this system seems to be a gold mine... It is a totals three game chase---so odds are almost always -110. The details of this system will not be released, and this system could also be for sale some day. I DO NOT KNOW a single detail about how the system works, so it would be pointless to ask.. you know as much as I do. The only thing I can tell you is that over the past 4 years, the record is claimed to be 1395-34 for +1123 units. I know, seems almost too good to be true. Since I started following, his record is 25-1 (not lighting the world on fire, but each loss only costs you 8 units, so I have made 17 units over this short span). There are a ton of plays for this system (he claims approx. 100 per months)... so it is great for action junkies like me. I am 100% not trying to sell the system, as again, i do not even know how it works... but he has asked me to try to get the word out for his system as he knows that I am on these forums often and he believes that he can help us all make some good money. Tail or fade if you want... but I will be trying to post his plays daily... I use pinny mostly, totals usually have a lean one way or the other with the odds, I guess the best way to get the right number would be to place the bet say half an hour before the game, if there is a distinct lean on the odds, like say the total is 8 and your on the under, the odds are +110 Un 8 and -120 Ov 8 its possible the line could change to 8.5, which would cause a potential push situation instead of a win, in such a situation, buy half a point and take Un 8.5 at -110 or whatever it would be, probably wouldn't solve the problem all the time but more often than not would.

Will watch how this pans out for a month, hopefully it goes well.

Personally, I am doing 1%.. A full series loss will cost 8 units. So with 1%, I can afford to lose 6 straight series and not even lose half my roll... but thats just me. Like I said, its gone 25-1 since I started, so I am +17 units so far. Hopefully that trend keeps up

Sorry I missed your question the first time... and no, so far, all 26 plays that I have played have been the same team with the same play daily.

I would just love it to be even 50% as good as promised! I would love to hit even 20 out of every 21 plays (rather then 40 out of every 41 as the backtesting suggests)... this would give us a solid 12 units of profit on average after every 21 series.. ill take it

Why doesn't he just do this himself, then he would be there to answer questions like I have tried to do with mine. Doesn't make any sense to market a system through a person who also doesn't know the system, and can use that as an out when mistakes are made and losses happen. It seems the person who is supposedly "accountable" is no where to be found. Not wanting to publish the criteria of the system is one thing, and purely that person's right. But to not make yourself available for questions isn't. I really hope this is successful for you, I truly do, you seem like a good guy. But it just seems that you want all the glory without the persecution that goes along with it, that will be deferred to the "ghost creator".

that is a very valid point wallco.. his sbr name is jwhedgepth. He has been posting in the service section for a few weeks now. I started following him back on 6/6 when he told me that he had made some changes and added some new filters to his system. I talk to him via email, and was not aware that he had been posting on this site. I told him that I would post for him since his current thread has been getting no attention (only 260 views in like three weeks) and since I am at least semi known around this forum and may be able to provide some validity. It's funny how G keeps keeps trying to link us and worrying about the two of us even though he put us on ignore, lol The only thing we have in common is that both of our threads will be up a lot more money than his "high favorite" chase system. Maybe we should put him on "ignore". His system is still down money for the year and he's walking around like he is good or something, lol.

You would need over 60 plays a month to acheive those numbers, so far in 2011 there are 43 plays in the first 2 1/2 months total. How sure are you of his stat accuracy? Gonna need an awful lot of plays the rest of the way through to reach those kind of figures.

I am not sure of his stat accuracy, only going by trust alone So far, it looks like he has been going for about three weeks and has had 43 plays (49 including tonight).. am I missing some of his posts? I only see his first post for his trial being on 5/26 right? Like I said, since I started 2 weeks ago, Im +17 units... so he has gotten plenty of praise from me Im happy to share it with you guys if its something I feel could work.. but as always, we need to be careful and do as much homework as possible

Unless I'm incorrect, I believe the system went 2-4 yesterday, not 3-3 which is fine because it is a chase system, not a win every A game system. I just am not sure about not having the backtested data as well as the high amount of games being played. Seems like a very large amount of games on one slate for a chase system. Also, if someone could PLEASE message me and explain what a labby is, been asking for what seems like forever and noone has responded. Thanks
