We all like to have a go at creating our own systems. At least this one was shared and was promising from the start, and Dlunc to his credit is rightfully pulling it now it has begun to fail. The thing with many sports (and especially baseball), is it doesn't take much of an event in a match to swing it the complete opposite way to how you capped it.

I had a typical instance when I was heavily invested in a Japanese match. I was home and hosed when a gorilla stepped up and knocked it out of the park at the top of the 9th to bring a couple home and crucify me. But then again, just like poker, everyone has a bad beat story. At the end of the day it's about being able to manage your bankroll accordingly. If you do your homework it is possible to increase your returns over the long run and ride out the losses which never should have been.

Favourites win and dogs lose, dogs win and favourites lose. It's always been like that and always will be. The good capper knows when to take the dog or leave it to sleep...
