Nova has been -200 twice this year. Phil Hughes was getting the same lines last year, and earlier this year.

The line for Fridays game is a correction by linemakers finally giving into the fact that Ivan Nova is a below average pitcher. Now ask yourself, how many below average pitchers have been -200 twice in one year? Only the Yankees ....

Not sure about -200 but Lackey, Aceves and Wakefield have received some insane lines this year

in weaver's last start he was at minnesota going up against swarzak(only 1 start this year gave up 5 earned, and only 12 career starts before this season with an ERA over 5) and pinnacle opened the line at -140.....now weaver at home vs nova they open at -160. how is that possible?

in both instances it got bid up heavily to the assumed initial dumb money side, weaver closed around -160 on the twins game
