I don't usually do this and I am well aware it's frowned upon, but I just have to mention that the Cubs lost three runs already (Doug Davis, well done). Honestly, how can you not love this team? Let's see what they can do from 0-3 after five minutes.

OK, two home runs in the 2nd and the score's level again. The Cubs can really hit (every now and then) and the weirdest thing is Vogelsong's been pitching really, really good lately.
(Just looked it up -- I remember G mentioning it at some point in the thread -- the Cubs are actually 5th in MLB in batting average!)
So, what will they invent tonight to lose this game? There has to surely be some miserable defensive play or a stupid baseman error. End of rant.
Lines for the 2nd game almost even at the moment, SF being a very slight favorite. Movement expected.
