Another split day 2-2, down a few shillings. Baltimore was lucky and Cincinnati couldn't capitalize on chances to win in the last 3 innings.
The White Sox are underrated IMHO this year and I think there is money to made here.
Texas....well fading Roy Hallady wasn't a good idea in April no matter what his record against Texas.

New York Yankees -123 (action)......Jeter coming back provides a huge boost. As much as I hate the little bastard he is the heart and soul of that ballclub. Sonnanstine doesn't inspire me much, Kennedy is the better pitcher, Yanks have the better bullpen, better bats and the Yanks pull it out.

Wednesday April 16th

0fer night last night with a couple really bad plays in retrospect.

Hoping todays card is a little more successful, I am being extremely conservative with unit allotment.... so today to be a renegade I am going with full unit plays. Why not?

Seattle +105...pitchers dual King Felix comes out on top, has been impressive vs Oakland. Blanton has been good too but I am counting on Hernandez to really shut down what I feel is an overachieving A's lineup....while the Mariners bullpen inspires no confidence, the bats do, and I'll take the better offense+Felix Hernandez for the plus money and keep my fingers crossed

CWS/Baltimore over 9.5 -112.....Contreras has been shelled in his only two outings at Camden Yards and has struggled against Baltimore and the Baltimore bats, while having some trouble generating runs, look like they are heating up a bit with 3 dings against the Jays last night. Again I think the White Sox lineup is very underrated and capable of giving a pitcher like Loewen a pounding, and the Baltimore bullpen is fugly apart from Sherill. I am hoping atleast one starter exits fairly early and we get a 7-4, 8-3 type game.

Cincinnati +171.....risky bet but with Alfonso Soriano appearing to be out with an injury for the Cubs and some of the big Reds hitters having some past success against Zambrano, its worth a shot at this number. Fogg could get shellacked here but some of the Cubs batters have gone cold lately and I am hoping that with the Reds having the lineup edge as far as hitting that they can pull this one out at what I feel is a little overinflated ML.
