Have been busy watching pucks, but here now and liking what I see, including Seattle tonight.

The Dbacks don't get it done for the Contrarians this afternoon, leaving it up to the M's to cash on the CDDP. Just remember fellas, it's a marathon, we have at least 250 selections to go.

I'm hoping Erik Bedard comes thru with a gem for you, 5's. I have a 5 inning play on him myself at +143.

It was only a couple of years ago Bedard was a top tier lefty - but he's had to battle thru 3 arm surgeries in the last year and a half and this is a huge comeback night for him. He couldn't be facing a much bigger test than the Rangers lineup in their own ballpark - but the good news is he pitched very well this spring in the desert (20 solid innings). Although he's still basically just a 2 pitch pitcher (FB, Curve) his stuff was always live with movement thru the zone. He's got some balls, he knows how to pitch and I think he has a chance to surprise some people here. Many had him written off. He had to pitch his way onto the Seattle roster - his current contract was not guaranteed - and he did so.

I'll take 5 good innings but I'm pulling for the M's to hang for 9 and cash for you as well.

I don't usually put a play in when I have the CDDP set for the second half. However, the linesmakers do not want you to select the under in the Pirates/Cards with it's -118 premium. What's interesting is that the squares are slamming the over and getting +110. Squares are a jumpin
