Pads will at least win tonight. Can't say what will happen to Atlanta...but I actually like the under in that game. One of my decent-sized plays today...

Yep, this is the problem. Out of 16 teams in the NL, they're 15th in batting average (another reason for teams to get down on their knees and thank God there's a Pittsburgh). It's tough to win when all you can muster is six hits and five of them are singles. It's not looking good, especially when you can't beat the freakin' Cubs when everything is on the line at HOME.

Win 4 of their last 5 and they are at least in a one game playoff. Amazingly they still control their own destiny

San Diego had it, and blew it. Possibly the best pitching and worse offense combination ever.

I see the Padres falling apart at the end. The Braves will end up winning the Wild Card and go on to make the playoffs. The Braves hitting is much better than the Padres!

It sure would be disappointing if they dont make the playoffs, because I just don't see this season being duplicated in the coming years.

With that said, I think they will have trouble getting in, especially playing the Giants this weekend, with seeding implications and homefield advantage in the 1st round on the line for the Giants.

They are terrible right now, I doubt that they get in.
