I say no but this could change. I still think it will be decided this weekend. If they lose tonite they are only 1.5 back and the Braves have 4 left, if the Braves go 2-2 San Diego can still get in. If the Braves go 3-1 San Diego has a chance. The Braves going 4-0 is unlikely considering how they have been playing so I think San Diego has a chance. Now if San Diego does not atleast split this series with the Cubs it's most likely game over for them

I doubt it, the Braves have 1.5 game lead plus they get to play a resting Phillies team at home. Even if the Padres wins the last 4 games they will have to hope the Brave plays at a sub par level at home.

If there is one team that deserves to go to the playoffs, its the padres. They play the game the right way, and they're doing it with players that wouldn't start on most teams. Throw in the fact that they have one of the lowest payrolls in the league.

Nope. The best shot they have is the Giants splitting these last 2 with D-Bags then forcing a 1 game playoff for the division. If that happens, they're in. Giants won't lose next 2 to Arizona nor will they get swept by the Pad's. I'd give them +1500 to make the playoffs.
