Calling it now, the Rays won't make the postseason.
Let's take a look at where their 24 wins have come from:
1 vs Yankees
4 vs Red Sox
5 vs Orioles
2 vs White Sox
2 vs Blue Jays
2 vs Royals
3 vs Mariners
3 vs Athletics
2 vs Angels
Basically, only 5 wins of 24 have come against quality teams.
The AL east should end up something like this:
1. Yankees
2. Red Sox
3. Blue Jays
4. Rays
5. Orioles
If the Orioles start playing better baseball, the Rays might find themselves at the very bottom when it's all said and done.

Key word there is rational, Diesel is not that.

I like how DIESEL is now saying he called it.
DIESEL, you guaranteed Tampa Bay wouldn't make the playoffs, then you guaranteed they wouldn't win a playoff game.
So what exactly are you patting yourself on the back for? For being wrong all the time?
