Don't listen to these espn articles. The humid wet weather favors Nadal. Don't let it fool you. Sod has been winning matches off his serve and those sick groundstrokes. Those are both going to slow down so much with the dampness of the court. Nadal doesn't even need the height on the spin and that's what he likes because Sod can take the ball over his shoulder, only him and Federer can do that.

As if I read ESPN for tennis.

I told LB Nadal wasn't a lock - as in don't lay the chalk on him in any way. I didn't tell him to take Soderling. I told him that Soderling + was a better bet, which it definitely is. Nadal can't cover for shit this tourney. Still think there's a 95% chance he'll win if he peaks today, and that's if they even play today because of the rain, but there's no hope in hell I'd tell someone to dump money on him on the ML or even 3-0 in this one.

I've already taken the points because it's just going to keep getting juiced. The total is iffy to me - I'm going to stay away from it but gun to my head I'd say it goes over. Hewitt, Bellucci and Melzer all broke Nadal's serve. Nadal conceded only 2 break points early against Almagro and Almagro converted one. I think he was even broken against Zeballos during the early rounds so it's highly likely that Soderling will break him at least a couple of times if given the opportunity. Someone could argue that he wasn't really trying but it's the French - he may not have been giving it 110% but he was definitely trying. It'll be a great match

For sure big market. Just letting you know how bookies think. They want to entice their customer with lines that seem like great value but there not. I was telling someone that for game 1, my local had Bos +7 and this guy is really sharp. 70 percent took the bait, this guy cleaned up by manipulating that line.
