quick question, wanna hear what y'all think - anyone seeing value in texas winning the series against the rays?

I think the Rangers make it out of Tampa with at least 1 win...
Lee should be able to keep it close, and can shut a team down if he's hitting his spots.
I think CJ has a great chance against Shields.
The Ranger lineup is as potent as the Rays'.
Rays pen is solid but Tex isnt bad either with Feliz.

i like them for the series. game 1 is a toss up imo. the rangers have to win a playoff game before anyone can back them. the fact lee is +120 is telling. tb owns this guy. i really think the rays are the team to beat in the american league. they are built for the playoffs.

I absolutely love the Rays to beat the Rangers. Hobbled Hamilton and Vlad who swings at anything will be your 3-4 hitters most likely.

Topped w/ David Price who should be able to shutdown game 1.

Giants over the Braves is pretty much a steal at -155 imo. The Braves crawled into the playoffs. 14-16 Since September, playing against the Mets, Nats, Phils, Pirates, Marlins, and Cards.

No way Braves have anymore fire in them.

But I do believe the Phils stroll into the WS imho beating both the Reds & Giants easily.

Twins can beat the Yanks IMO. Yanks pitching is overrated, only CC and possibly Hughes are good enough to pitch. Pettitte is a big question mark whether he can fight his injuries and Burnett has been plain bad throughout the season.

Exactly, and if Burnett pitches in NY, I know that the Twins will win that game straight up.
