I had MIN +3, and they lost, but even with all of Farve's garbage, they Refs gave this game away! They totally screwed call in multiple games today. They need to have instant replay on every play at this point. Its getting really rediculous how bad the refs are and to force coaches to have to use there challenges simply isnt working. Forget a new agreement with owners and the players, get some damn refs who aren't betting on the games or simply have better eye sight!

why, so the games can last 5 hours??? isn't it bad enough we sit through 3.5 hours to watch the ball actually in play for a measley 6-8 minutes? not to mention the fact that replay takes all the spontaneous excitement out of the game. you can't even celebrate a play anymore when it happens because you have to wait to see if it's gonna be replayed, challenged, blah, blah, blah...boring. it's an imperfect game, played and officiated by imperfect humans trying to do their best. you win some, you lose some. you can't legislate the game to get 100% of the calls right..it's impossible. f replay. i can live with bad calls against my teams, because i understand that the same amount of bad calls actually help me.

so your saying that that catch percy made in the end should of counted for a td... when he was clearly out. Even in the replay the ref was staring at percys feet and he missed the call

a perfect example is big ben's td to win the game against the dolphins. the call on the field was wrong, it wasn't a td, it was a fumble. but even with instant replay, they STILL got the call wrong. because replay couldn't clearly identify someone recovering the fumble -- despite the fact that the replay clearly shows a dolphin player coming out of the pile with the ball -- the steelers get the ball back for one more play. and so an incorrect call begat another incorrect call, despite the use of instant replay.

c'mon man...it's a simple as this...learn to accept that 50% of the bad calls help you, and 50% hurt you. life is a game of averages, bro. it all works out in the end.

At this point though it effects the integrity of the game. And quite frankly they can't even get the replays right as we saw again tonight! With the technology available today there is 0 excuse for this kinda garbage. I can deal with calling lots of penalties or very few for little stuff, but it has to be even for both teams. Im on the side of letting them play instead of calling everything especially when it doesn't even effect the play. But as far as I am concerned making sure Touchdowns are 100 percent correct is a MUST, its just like reviewing home runs in baseball. Perhaps the league needs a replay expert at every game to make sure they are right because its obvious there refs can't do it themselves.

Forget all the other garbage calls from tonight, take away the one GB td and give MIN the one that was overturned and MIN wins the game easy.

just to make one point clear...minny could have also won the game if brett doesn't throw that garbage pick 6.

i'm with you on a modification to replay. i wouldn't be opposed to seeing it on scoring plays only. that's how it needs to stay in hockey and baseball. scoring plays only. if the nfl went to that, i could live with it. but all the other crap in between the 20s, just let it play out.

This is complete and utter bullshit, no disrespect to you. With all the $$$ the fans pay to support the NFL and all the $$$ they make, they can afford to get every TD call right and the fans deserve it!

As far as the PIT/MIA game I haven't seen the replay yet but I am hearing there was no indisputable evidence the MIA recovered the fumble.

i mean, why not hire younger, quicker, sharper officials? or why not spend more money training and ranking/promoting officials? aren't these also ways to reduce the number of bad calls? and by bettering officials, you get the duel benefit of more correct calls and games that FLOW. that are watchable and entertaining. (not that tonight's game wasn't, it was.) but my point is that there's more than one way to skin this cat. technology isn't the always the only answer, or the best answer.
