Why? I think Twins showed more than Texas. Look at the stats, Yankees 95-67, Twins 94-68, Texas 90-72.
In the Twins division the CWS and Detroit think were not as easy as for Texas who played with Oakland, LAA and Seattle.

I think Twins can send home the Yankees and Twins may win everything!

Alot of people like the twins and I just cant see it. What pitchers are gonna shut down the Yanks? Pavano is the only guy I can see throwing a good one. But one factor that I really havent seen here, but may play a role, is defense. The Yankees play great defense. Yeah you can say the range of the yankees infield isnt as good, but everyball they get too, a play gets made. Everytime. Without fail.

But I will say this, the twins always keep it close.

NO Morneau though, which means one less guy to back up Mauer, and makes it easier to pitch around.
