If you play the (Point Spread) underdog +3, then you can lose by 1 or 2 points and still win the bet. If you lose by 3, then you push the bet.
If you play the Moneyline, then your team must win the game outright.

Only problem with the over is the Jets have no offense, and Sanchez is a train wreck! But I agree the Pats seem like a lock!

Really what it comes down to is if you have handicapped the game with a final score, does the 3 points come into play. If the three points do come into play then it is wise to take the points. Obviously if the points do not come into play the play the dog straight up.

I'm gonna warn you people now, stay away from the Pats spread. Pats and Jets have a fierce rivalry and just looking at that line I smell a big fuqkin trap. Jets stadium will be bumpin and Sanchez might get his first win today, but I hope I'm wrong.

That was my first inclination however I'm anticipating the Jets to score at least 10pts and relying on New England to complete the supplementary for the Over. Any thoughts on my analysis?

Jets Defense did a good job with Baltimore last week, and I agree with an earlier post that the line -3 seems like a trap but I cannot take the jets over the Pats and all their offensive weapons! I have 6X on the pats. I would probably lean towards the under with the defensive show the Jets put on last week. I don't think I'll take a side on the total today, maybe on the Giants/Indi over, 48 1/2 is high but I think this will be a TD show tonight! To many good plays on the card today to try a coin flip on the total on the Pats/Jets in my opinion. Just my 2 cents which probably aren't even worth that much

Just remember that no team is as good or bad as they looked the previous week. I can't trust that the Pats will be as explosive as last week and the Jets can't look any worse than Monday and they still almost won. This is a huge rivalry game and it's as close to must win 4 Jets as you can get this early in the year, jets can't afford to be 2 games back this early plus they're getting points.

As long as the refs don't let the NE lineman hold and give Brady 4 seconds to throw the Jets will be ok! After last week I'm worried that the NFL is back 2 their old tricks letting NE hold and keep Brady upright which was the recipe to their 16-0 season, which the awesome NYG passrush took care of. Hoping the Jets bring the heat and make Brady uncomfortable.
