I did bad this saturday 5 wins to 7 losses. NIU vs Ill game was a stupid ending, and ECU and Hawaii both screwed me in the 4th.

Oh well, on to NFL. I am really liking the Ravens and the Packers ATS. Thoughts?

Tenn game scares me Pac. As a Steeler hater, I have watched them play too many tight games to feel comfortable taking the Titans. Tenn will probably win, but theres no way it wont come down to the last few minutes.

I tend to agree that the Titans is the weakest of the the three... What about taking the Chargers -1.5 or the Colts +2?

Can someone help me out here on NFL plays.

What's the difference in playing the spread on the underdog rather than playing the Moneyline on the underdog.

If you see the spread at +3 (-105) and the Moneyline at (+140) for the Underdog, wouldn't it be easier to play the ML?

I'm new to NFL plays and want to understand and learn it a lot better.

Underdog +3 is a handicap and the odds are lower than on MoneyLine

And I'll put this in just in case other members are new to the NFL Handicap spread.

Here's an example of a point spread:
Miami Dolphins +7.5 -110
New York Jets -7.5 -110
The team that has a plus in front of the spread number is usually considered the underdog. The underdog will get the point listed in the odds added to their final score. As such if the match ended with the following score Miami 10 New York 14, the score on the bet would be Miami 17.5 New York 14 and a wager on Miami to cover would result in a win.
