I just think people are realizing that the Braves shouldn't be -250 on the road, and Hudson's gotten out of his cruise mode that he was in before winning like 6 games in a row or whatever he had recently. The Braves just aren't as good on the road for some reason.

When was the last time Hudson had a bad game? 2 runs of the 4 against the Mets were unearned.

I would agree. He gave up 2 earned runs in the 1st inning to mets but cruised the rest of the way.

Hudson should probably win the NL Cy this season he has been so solid all season, the Braves are just not getting the media coverage that Col did early on with Ublado and Timmy has gotten all of his mediocre season and Carpenter and Wainwright for my birds have been less than stellar since they cant hit.......

He gave up 4 ER's in 6 innings pitched against the Rockies(On the road) in August. At home, Braves should def. be -200 against the Pirates, but on the road, I would never lay that juice. I try to stay away from the Braves when they are on the road, and I think Hudson is a much much better pitcher when he's at home. The cruise mode I was talking about was from late July to Mid August(38 innings 4 ERs, remarkable stuff) where he didn't lose a single game. Also, I just don't like the Braves bats on the road. for example Brian Burres(WHO?) pitched a 6 inning game and gave up just 1 er to the braves. Hudson pitched an excellent game against the Pirates earlier this season, and he might go out and do the same thing but I just don't wanna lay -200 juice on the braves offense on the road, but good luck to ya.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Braves shitshowed either line movement favoring the Pirates means nothing to me, especially considering a couple days ago when Morton was pitchin for them, I took the nats and they rocked morton still

I see that you're pretty high on Tim Hudson this year, so I think this piece might interest you. I've made a lot betting on the Braves during Hudson's starts this year but I haven't been betting on him lately after reading this:

"Tim Hudson is having his best season at age 35: 2.13 ERA, 1.07 WHIP. But few SP have been more fortunate this year than Hudson. He has a 23% hit rate and an 83% strand rate, which suggests that contact off him has been hit right at people. He’s striking out far less batters than he ever has (just 91 in 171 IP) and his command of the strike zone is about as average as it gets. There are over 50 starting pitchers who have a DOM% (dominance rate (k/9), or opposition strikeouts per game) higher than his 54% DOM%. Avoiding disaster has been his calling card. As an elite groundball pitcher, he won't implode, but he’s also not nearly as strong as his numbers suggest."

Hope that helps for anyone considering backing Hudson and the Braves (I'm not saying don't back him, just saying be cautious)
