Should be a great game, I will be on Mich with the points. Rich Rod's system takes a few years but once it gets going it is hard to stop. I don't want to get to excited over one game but Robinson might be the new Pat White and I see Notre Dame having trouble containing him. I will be on Mich for a couple of hundred.

one thing to factor into mich/nd is kelly understands how to defend the spread. doesn't mean nd will cover, but let's not get carried away and think michigan is a powerhouse again.

Why would they close Paco's football thread because one asshole kept talking shit (Bravesfan). It hurts even more because I am a huge Braves fan and this ahole is giving us a bad representation.

mich is really good this year and finally done with all that over practice bs.
only problem is ND is really excited to play this year and shut up all the doubters
still like mich getting 3.5 with a better qb and running back, but thats joe public so its most likely wrong

Not sure when Kelly came from Cent Mich to Cincy or when Rich Rod left WV for Mich, but... In 2005, WV beat Cincy 38-0. In 2006, WV beat Cincy 42-24. That second score might be indicative of Kelly beginning to turn Cincy into a national power. But at same time could give an indication of "history repeating itself" with Rich Rod in his 3rd year (?) at Mich meeting Kelly in his first year at ND.

2007 results were WV 28, Cincy 23. So you could see Kelly beginning to close the gap. I think Rich Rod came to Mich for 2008 season.

For sure, I'm definitely thinking Michigan, Rich Rod knows how to coach especially when he has a "pat white" type of QB taking the snaps, and ND's defense isn't anything spectacular

also paco point out to this young blood that ND should really be 3-2 Vs Big Blue in South Bend.. as one of the games was an obvious bad call.. michigan lost on a phantom Touchdown vs ND about 4 or 5 years ago in final seconds.. it was all over the news and ESPN.. call was never overturned..

Also you have to realize that Michigan has just started playing ND again boys.. I was in College only a few years ago when this series started up again.. There hasn't been 5 Michigan vs ND games in South Bend in the last 10 years.. so you are really comparing two very different teams, coaches, and programs who were in very different places at the time =)

also if the over is in the low 50's i like the over in the Michigan game.. mich will be low in pass coverage which is ND biggest weapon on Offense .. if ND has any chance they will have to air it out.. Big blue will have to keep up and their scrambling QB looks like he can do just that..

ND as well as the Big Ten is not ready for this style of football.. Michigan can really cause some real headaches for this conference now if the Win vs uConn was for real..

Paco, agree on the chalk, Braves line been dropping since it opened at -250, is someone out for the ATL? I like TOR at home against the Rangers especially with Hamilton out tonight, Timmy and the Giants have been mediocre but, I think they realize how much they need this game.....

I just think people are realizing that the Braves shouldn't be -250 on the road, and Hudson's gotten out of his cruise mode that he was in before winning like 6 games in a row or whatever he had recently. The Braves just aren't as good on the road for some reason.

Minny would be smart to run the ball and eat alot of clock to make sure the Saints offense stays off the field for as long as possible(helping your under angle), however, you never know with a home run hitter like Peterson. He might get stuffed three times in a row causing a three and out. This games been tough to breakdown, lines been all over the place.
