Sitting in a Honda dealership all afternoon, negotiating a new lease. So I missed your LAA over. Hope you guys hit it. One interesting thing... Been reading Donaghys' book "Personal Foul" to pass the time. Amazing stuff in there. This guy reveals everything about the NBA. Couple of tidbits to whet your appetite. Certain crews used to make side bets: whoever called the first foul had to tip the ball boy (who kept their locker room stocked with drinks and food) + buy a meal for the crew. Consequently, some games would go about 3 minutes before a foul was called. Players were just banging on each other until that first foul was called.

One more fun fact... Donaghy liked Charles Oakley. Oakley was getting mauled on the boards and bitched about it to Donaghy. Donaghy said "you're supposed to be so tough, take care of it yourself". Oakley looked like he had blood in his eyes. Next play down the court he nailed a player in the balls, dropped him to the ground. Everyone was waiting for Donaghy to call the foul but he knew he couldn't. Had to just let it go. Also amazing stuff about which playoff series got tilted which way and why.

Okay... Back to baseball... Home runs all around till you catch your over!
