I'm in a early stage of learning the whole thing about betting and all that. I really appreciate serious threads like this and I like to thank you for all information you share with us.

My plan is to start following the serie-system on Tuesday.

I don't think this comment or the ones that followed were in any way directed at me.

However, just in case anyone was thinking it...

I have tried to keep this thread headed in the right, positive direction.

I made a comment about having to sell my virginity if the Twins lost, but that was just joking around because that guy I had never seen before popped in the thread and asked if anyone was going to lose their house if the game lost.

I may question some methods or whatever at times, but it is always in an effort to be constructive.

I think overall this thread has stayed very positive. There will always be guys nervous about C bets and this is obviously the place that they are going to vent about it.

Like G said, it is ok for one to vent after a loss, but if that is the only time that person posts in here then that is not cool. REV is up a ton on the year so there really isn't any room for anyone to be whining too much.

I would suggest doing all you can to learn how to cap these on your own as you follow along. Jot down your picks for the day on the side or keeping a spread sheet with the picks you would play would be even better (single games, not chases).

I think I'm finally goin to start tailing, ill start with 50bucks per game and see where that leads me.

I have been following both Reverend and "G" and all that I can tell you is wow!!!!! The amount of time and effort that would go into creating a thread, answering questions and posting your picks like this is astounding! Let alone all the research and statistical analysis prior to the games!!! For a new person you could learn alot by them.....I know I have. I have not placed a single wager yet, I am trying to learn as much as possible in the event that both Rev and "G" are not around anymore I can feel comfortable in my own ability to handicap sports.

The funny thing is.....even though I have not placed a bet, I can feel myself wanting the win and feeling agony for those that go to a "C" bet. All part of the sports betting "game" I suppose.

Keep doing what you are doing Rev and "G"!!!!!

Dont know if this has been posted yet! Does anyone have the stats on a team coming back after having a "perfect game" thrown against them the previous day! ie W-L record. Would be interesting as TB has Garza going today. Might be worth a look!!!

Strong Lean on Tampa Bay RunLine -1 1/2 (+110) Garza starting today. My Secondary Pick are the Reds RunLine -1 1/2 (+140) Arroyo. I'm not too intrigued by the line up of games offered today, however these 2 games are Marquee Picks by anyone's standards. Any thoughts on my games selection?

Balls2wall Yankees will be throwing a kid today that will just be trying to get through 5 and hopefully the sixth. I had seen that he will be on a pretty tight pitch count. Yankees should win a game in this series but I don't like today's game, its just one of those games where the manager just wants to get through and not have to burn the bullpen

If your looking that far ahead, consider the following:
- Tampa Bay
- Philadelphia
- St. Louis

These 3 games by far look more appealing than Chicago/Minnesota.

Personally, I would play the TB game with the -1RL @ -112. You are not losing that much juice and don't have to worry about losing with a 1 run win.

yeah, I saw that. I think they are wanting about 75 pitches out of him. I am sure that is a big part of the low -120 line too. That is one of the main reasons I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Yanks have been pounding lefties too though, Dtrain may get rocked

Like you, I think they win at least one. Maybe not tonight, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

by your statement I guess you play every Plus odds -1.5 run line on every game you play instead of ML or -1? I don't think you do that, but that is basically what your reply would indicate.

I considered the Reds play, but I'm just staying away from it. I might feel comfortable chasing the Reds or the Pirates in this series. I looked at the series starting tomorrow, and a few look nice, so I'm just going to be playing TB starting today.

Go back to Reverends thread on the forum and you will see a small paperclip on right side that lists the attachments in the thread. In there is the run-line calc which explains how to convert the 1.5line to the 1-line.
