#915Just a quick what's up (also so I can subscribe to the thread). I was thinking of doing a system just like your series system on my own. Then I found your thread here, and I figure I might as well start tailing you. Here's to some continued success and hope that I'm not a bad luck charm.Comment -

#917Good thing you didnt have to chase the Rays. They are giving away free outs because they cant steal on Molina. Tried it four times and he catches them every time.

#924I wanted to take a second and thank those of yall who have been following and contributing in this thread this season. To be honest, I was
not sure I wanted to post my plays because of the time factor and the negativity that oftentimes comes into these threads. But I have
enjoyed these first 3 weeks of the mlb season. Lets keep it up!Comment -

Just be patient do not press or force any picks... It will work all year I proved that last year despite hearing it would not finish in the green... Just always keep your units in perpective with your bankroll... I started my system two weeks in and it also has been easy this year... Keep up the good work... Glad to see our picks have been different sometimes but both still winning...Comment -

#926Rev,
Thanks for for this awesome system and the way you keep this thread very organized and easy to follow. No haters which is a bonus too.
Also it's cool of you to add your personal picks as well. I'm trying my hardest to use discipline and MM to stay in the green!

#929Nice work Rev Congrats!
Patience is the key guys. Pick your spots and wait for the right opportunities. Angels (vs Indians), Cubs (vs Nats), Brewers (vs Pirates), Cards (vs Braves), Rockies (vs D'Backs) for Monday and Rays (vs A's) looks good for next week. Lock Yanks (vs White Sox), Blue Jays (vs A's), Rays (vs Royals) and Dodgers (vs Pirates) for weekend.
Have a good weekend everyone, GL!Comment -

#936So refreshing to see a MLB season long thread that is positive. You have a great system in place here and will be following it. Plus many thanks to balls2wall for providing the link to the excellent spreadsheet for tracking progressive bets. Here it is in case you missed it I think on pg4- http://www.1stopsportsinvestors.com/...-blueprint.php. I wouldn't worry about all the other stuff on the page since all we need is the Reverends plays. Keep up the good work!!Comment -

#937So it looks like Mil will be the fav play tomorrow. I just raised my betting units by 50% on Thursday and had a D bet on the Rays, I was super nervous. Good thing they pulled it out today. I hope we don't have another one of those anytime soon. BOL to everyone.Comment -

#942Hey Rev, I got an idea that may be a little aggressive but I think it sounds good on paper... so hear me out. I got on the Brewers while it was still a prelim pick, and decided to pursue it all the way through today. I lost .9 unit on A, 1.9 on B, and then 4.35 units on C for a grand total of 8.15 units.
At first I was thinking of carrying over on the Brewers because I like them tomorrow, but then i thought, in an effort to lower my overall risk, what if I spread the units I lost on the different series about to start up. So, say you have 6 total series starting tomorrow, instead of risking my usual 1 unit I risk 2 units (so I chase around 1.35 units that I'm down and then .65 for profit)... I know it's pretty aggressive, but thought it may work out. I guess you couldn't make it part of your system, and since you didn't take the Brewers it doesn't really effect you, but I thought for me personally it would be good to get those units back plus a some profit. I haven't increased my units yet either, so I think I can ride out the increase for 1 to 2 units if some series go deep.
Any feedback would be appreciated, and BTW thanks for the work... this thread is a breath of fresh air compared to a bunch on this siteComment -

this is a sound idea. i will be doing something very similar on a few series i play as well. the main point is to make sure you have the bankroll to cover an a, b and c bet if they come up, and if so, it is just deciding before the series starts that you are comfortable with that progression. but with that said, we have been hitting at a very high rate on a bets in the series system, and have only had a few c bets all year. so, i think you are fine to do that as long as you are comfortable with the units that will be risked.Comment -
