yeah, this is good stuff. yesterday i went in for the first time. i thought one will miss, so i left out that double pick

took it only once and wagered different amount since i have limited bank for MLB, i'm up 1/2u ... now it's 3.30 pm here and i'm waiting for next feed

yesterday pick on Seattle i liked so much that i'd like to repeat it

anyways, looking forward for new picks.

The Series and Situational Systems are based on a chase. In your example:

if we bet the mariners on the -1 RL and they win by 2 runs or more, then we win that series and we are finished with it

if we bet them on the -1 RL and they win by 1 run then we push, and will evaluate the next 2 games to decide if we will play further.

if they lose the game, then we will have a B bet on the 2nd game to win back the amount we lost on the A bet plus the desired profit.

same goes for playing the game on the ML, except it will either be a win or a loss.

Khaden, great question. I am trying to work through how I want to play the rest of this series. This is a 4 game series, and I like Colorado in todays game and in the 4th game. I am unsure on the 3rd game. So lets hope we win today and get this series behind us.

usually but not always. there will be a select few that are 4 games chases in both the series and situational systems.

Rev I see a lot of people are getting on the Nats bandwagon and they got you again last night... Also I notice the Pirates have played well early... Doubt either one keeps it up. I am not playing the Col/Was series did not fit in my system...but hopefully you get them tonight in your "B" bet.... go Rockies...

A Bet: Brewers (ML) 1.8 Units to Win 1.5 Units

B Bet: Colorado (ML) 5 Units to win 3.78 Units (1.5 Unit Profit)

I wanted to say something about today's picks and the systems I am playing in general.

It is clear that I have a number of Situational System picks going today. Please understand that I am evaluating these picks in light of the 3 game series that the teams are playing. I am not saying that my picks should or will win game 1 all of the time. I hope that is the case, but it is not always going to play out like that.

If you are new to this thread, my Series System picks have been hitting on the A game almost every time. If I was evaluating the 2 systems, they would be the "safer" play, but it just so happens with this current round of series, we have a large number of Situational System plays.

Thanks for the input and encouragement guys. Lets keep it up and look to have a great evening with our plays!

good question. this is another aspect of my system that I am still trying to work through and maximize. because I dont have the money management aspect completely dialed in yet, I am betting to win the same amount on each series. With that said, I understand that there is an abnormally large number of plays going at once today, so if I had to pick the 2 weakest, I would say those would be:

Yankees and Brewers.

I thought about waiting to see if the Yankees lost tonight and then chasing them after that, so that would be an option, but just understand if they win tonight, the series chase is over.

The Brewers is a pick for me mainly because of who they are facing during the series. They are facing a pitcher with a 12.5 ERA and and then one with a 14 ERA. The Brewers have started slower than most expected, but they can swing the bats.

i like your card for tonight. i was close to holding off of the Yankees tonight to see if they lost, but I still feel like they should win tonight's game, so i included them.

no problem at all. i want this thread to be constructive. i was a bit timid playing the brewers, but my job as a capper is to go into each series unbiased and run the games through my filters and breakdown the pitching match-ups. at the end of it, the brewers are the much better team and are facing 2 pitchers this series that should not be in the major leagues. i see them breaking out of their mini slump and continuing to hit and score like they did against washington in their last game.

I like tonights matchup in favor of the Giants. Sanchez is an all or nothing type pitcher. He was great in his last outing. I dont like giving advice if I am not risking my own money, but I would feel very comfortable playing the Giants tonight, knowing that tomorrow's game is a "no play" because of the matchup.

I wonder if Colorado will be distracted by team president Keli McGregor's untimely death today. Should we filter out games like this in light of extenuating circumstances such as these? any thoughts?
