Hey guys very good start for sure... as good as we could have ever hoped for... I suspect that it gets a little more difficult than that as we move along... it is really nice to start the year without a chase though...

rev... your question is one I had been weighing all day yesterday even as we were winning... my money management structure in the picks thread is definitely a recipe for disaster, so I may have to tinker with it by the end of the weekend... I knew that going in, but felt it a lot yesterday, if even 2 series went to a chase, I would have been up against it...

It is pretty much that I essentially percentage wise doubled my starting unit and cut the length of time to increase it in half... so that even further compounds the disproportionate unit... I was just hoping to start with 400 minimum, if I did, ideally I would stick to what dehoyos laid out... increasing every 20 wins... and actually starting with a smaller bet size... so not sure how I am going to tinker with it now that the season started, but clearly betting less per series seems imperative... as well as waiting a little longer to increase...

Let's keep this train rolling... great start we need to sustain it all season... great job everyone, the dissenters piped down a bit, but they wont be silenced forever until there is a profit in September... Looking like TB is the only play today, gonna update the picks thread now...

it is a progressive betting method I layed out...

up your unit by 50 % after every 20 wins... going 150 - 0

turns 400 into about 50 K

so they are saying by ratio it would turn 1 k to 125 K... primary issue is needing 150 consecutive series wins, but we got 5 so far

What Ive also found is that you can take those 5 top teams and do this on the road, when they are playing the lower tier teams, they never get swept on the road. The only times those teams got swept on the road last year was when they were playing one another, for instance, Yankees vs. Boston, or a mid level team such as Tampa Bay getting swept on the road by one of those top teams. Checking more this works when a top 5 team is playing moreso a bottom 10 team, anything over that there was like 3 or 4 sweeps between those 5 teams. Boston was swept on the road by Toronto and Texas last year.

I have listed all the series I will be playing, with start dates, and how many games in that series. I thought that would be a good thing to add to the first post in here once you guys figure out what teams you're playing. I think it makes it alot easier to see what day the series starts, and if the series has been won already, if someone jumps on this system late.


I'm not playing every home series though. I will not be playing against other .500+ win percentage teams for the first month(based on last year) I have 13 series that I will be playing. IF 2 of them lose then I Break even. I'm only betting to win .5 unit for the first month, until we see how the teams are playing.

You are correct. I will be playing these type of plays in addition to the plays outlined in this thread. For instance, Philly and St. Louis were both plays yesterday that I played that did not fit in this system. in 2 days, Boston travels to KC, and I will be on that series as well.

I was looking at playing TX for 2 game chase if they lost to TOR yesterday, but they pulled it out with a walk off.

I may look into some others since these initial plays are mostly done for a few days with them all being game A winners

I was really hoping that you answered my question in your thread, but you didn't. So I decided to start my own, just to track when the series begin, so I don't have to search thru the schedules every day.
