the astros only appeared to be the worst team in baseball because of the teams/starting pitching they faced the first 8 games. they are bad but not the worst team. baltimore is the worst team.Comment -
i dont know dudes....coming into this series after a BIG 2/3 from philly series where we coulda won all 3 if we didnt spot halladay a 7 run lead. as ya saw in the earlier posts, i saw no reason we didnt take 2/3 from houston and both games we scored some runs, got good starting pitching (3 er's by each, not bad) then we score some runs but cant hold it and BLOW it with the pen....the hanley rundown play was unreal today, what's the odds htye get the runner but then accidentally trips into runner and its interference which let houston score 2 more runs...
with annibal i dont know what to say and am in the same baot as you guys..he's shown brillance this year along with WHAT THE ****. last year vs houston he made his first start after being on the DL vs houston in florida and was UNREAL, he went like 8 innings with like 6 k's so he has the stuff and can shut these bums down but will that show up or his shit he had in nyc??
astros have some nobody on the mound but given thats been the case in games 1/2 i dont know

Nice night last night. First time I've seen this thread. I'm loving the Fish +146 today. No way De La Rosa should be priced this high. Also majority of pubes all over the Rocks in this one & the line has moved down from it's opener at Pinny. Opened at a -175 now a -155. Are you thinking the same thing?Comment -
yeah +140 is pretty decent price but the only thing that scares me, which i ALWAYS mention and forsee happeneing when volstad pitches is that gopher ball problem...and in colorado that scares me a bit more. ricky dominated the rawks yesterday by going inside on them and certainly that was pushed into the mind of volstad yesterday...
volstad is 2-2 with a 3.50 ERA vs the rawks while de la rosa is like 2-2 with a 7 ERA.....i dont want to force it but taking into account the things that have been going on with the rockies and their inconsistent play the same can be said with the fish....
mainly because they're a dawg yet 55% are on them but gonna take a shot with them and the cubs, just need 1 to win and will break even thenComment -

yeah i just stay away from em...i wanted today then i saw that de la rosa stat vs the fish and thought we could manufacture some runs but then shoulda knwon better w volstad on the mound, who was due for a mishap..which took place today
im def takign us for the series vs SD though, ricky and jj give us great shot....i think im gonna pretty much focus on those 2 and MAYBE annibal here and there depending on match ups
