INDIANS - 115 (2X) - Carmona vs Floyd. Floyd is 4-2 with a 4.12 ERA and WHIP of 1.351 vs the Tribe. Carmona is 5-3 with a ERA of 4.67 and a WHIP of 1.423 vs Sox. However Carmona since the end of the 08 season is 5-0 with a ERA of only 2.48 vs the Sox. The Pale Hose are only 3-13 in Floyds last 16 road starts. They are also 10-21 last 31 vs right handed starters. And to cap things off the White Sox hitters are dormant so far with a 2.16 average...............GLComment -

He faces Ian Kennedy who is 0-1 with a 8.68 ERA VS S.D. He is still looking for his first win since his Major-league debut in Sept. of 2007,since then he is 0-5 with a ERA of 6.97. TB + 165 (1x) Niemann vs Lackey - Lackey is the better pitcher and Boston has won their last 6 Patriot Day games.(11:00 am start) So why the pick ? The R.Sox are off to their worst start in 14 years. Baseball is a game of streaks,and when things are not going well it just effects all aspects of the game. For the Sox are having problems in all areas of their game. For ex. balls that just say fair now go foul, the grounder to 2nd base went through the infield because the 2nd basemen was covering the bag on the steal,ect. R.SOX batters are hittless in last 31 @ bats with RISP. Rays are13-3 vs right-handed starters. I am going to place this bet now,however IF you wait the line may go up!!
