I'm expecting another "A" lineup from the Cardinals tomorrow, with Wainwright on the mound and still needing to clinch the central, along with padding his shot at the Cy Young. They should win this one. I'm seeing a couple runs scored early, and thats it. unless the bullpens give up one or two. I'm tempted to take the under on this game as well.

Picks for September 27, 2009:
1. Royals ML (-175) (Greinke vs. Liriano) (Risking $175; to win $100)
Greinke absolutely dominates at home. He has a 9-3 record with a 1.73 ERA. He should have a start just like that this afternoon. With Greinke being stingy on giving up runs at home, as long as the Royals get 2 or 3, look for a W for them. Liriano has struggled all season, ESPECIALLY on the road. He's 3-7 with a 6.63 ERA. Look for him to get hit hard and often by a weak Royals offense. This should be the day the Twins cool off a bit.
2. Dodgers RL (-130) (Kershaw vs. McCutchen) (Risking $130; to win $100)
Kershaw is coming back from an injury and will be on a pitch count of about 70. Look for him to pitch strong against a weak Pirates lineup. McCutchen isn't a great pitcher and expect him to get rocked by this Dodgers offense. The Dodgers should have no problem covering the spread on this game against the Pirates. This one is almost a lock, but I won't call it that.
I may put one more up tomorrow late morning, but don't count on it.

Picks for September 30, 2009:
1. Yankees ML (-200) (Chamberlain vs. Tejada) (Risking $200; to win $100)
Chamberlain should be at least decent against the Royals, seeing as he did just fine against the Red Sox. Look for him to pitch another 6-7 strong and look for the Yankee offense to smash Tejada as he lost a good amount of confidence in his last start out (4.1 IP, 4 ER, 7 BB's) and expect the Yankee bullpen to either close this out with ease, or see them throw in some of their call-ups to close it out.
2. Giants ML (-190) (Penny vs. Mulvey) (Risking $190; to win $100)
Brad Penny has been solid since joining the Giants and don't expect that to stop against a weak diamondback lineup. He went 8 innings last time out, only giving up one run against the Cubs (who are a much better team than the Dbacks). He should have a start around that same that he did against the loveable losers (not so loveable in my eyes
). Mulvey's best start was his last start out, a quality start (6IP, 3ER), which just so happened to be against San Fran. Look for San Fran to jump on him early and not get off.
3. Rockies RL (Ev) (Hammel vs. Suppan) (Risking $100; to win $100)
Suppan still has an ERA over 5 and a losing record of 7-11. Look for him to get #12 here at Coors. The Rockies are looking to stay strong to keep the wild card secure, so look for their offense to be hungry throughout the game. The Brewers will most likely be trying to play spoiler, but with a few AAA players in the line-up. Hammel should be able to build on his last solid start out, (6.1 IP, 2 ER, ND) and be able to mow down Prince Fielder and the Brewers offense. Also a play to consider could be the over on this game. I'm not going to play it, but i'm just going to throw that out there.
