Drowning is pleasant, quiet and a peaceful way to die after you take your first full breath in of water.. Hurts like hell for a split second then everything just starts to fade away, very quiet, no pain then after the initial shock of taking in water.. I know I've been there and remember it will.. Obviously I was revived.
That would be my 1st choice on how to die other then dying in my sleep.. I fully support death by drowning if we must .. Fire is the worst..
Jibby you were not revived. You are a ghost I'm sorry to say.

You always wonder who will make the first cringe inducing jokes in one of these SBR threads when a kid in his 20’s dies.
It happened pretty fast in this thread.

Personally I like to wait a few days if at all. Plenty of ppl to make fun of around here. No need to take shots at the dead.

So let's just say theoretically... they do an autopsy... and find out... there wasn't anything in his system. Then... they say... well he had an enlarged or abnormal heart?
So, where do you point the blame? If you say well... all baseball players should automatically have 1 EKG a year... or every 6 months etc... what happens... if they Pass the EKG? This is when everything becomes questionable.
Should every MLB player once a year be given a Stress Test? Could this of been prevented?

Getting eaten by a Croc would probably be the closest to that.

Panic attacks suck with OD's, I can only imagine the heart starts beating rapidly and out of your chest and you know it's only getting worse. You panic and can't do anything to stop it. Game over when it feels like an elephant is stepping on your chest. (heart attack) That is if you are still awake..
Heroine OD's maybe that's a different story Bankers.. That might just be you get REALLY high and feel good, fade, pass out, then die.. NO PAIN.. Got a point there?? I don't know I never been there, just speculating...

It seems like baseball players die more often than in other sports. I remember baseball players dying from a plane crash and a boat capsizing.

They are saying it's probably a heart attack, not suicide and probably not drug related.. Family history of heart disease.
Dude was pretty young to keel over his hotel room out of the blue like that.. Bad ticker and all.. I'm still guessing it was drugs or something of that nature.. No cause of death official yet..

Probably because MLB has bigger rosters (40 man rosters) than any other sport besides the NFL

Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs had the opioids fentanyl and oxycodone along with alcohol in his system when he was found dead in his Texas hotel room July 1, according to a toxicology report that will be released Friday by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
The cause of death is listed as a mixture of “alcohol, fentanyl and oxycodone intoxication with terminal aspiration of gastric contents,” meaning Skaggs, 27, essentially choked on his vomit while under the influence. The death, according to the report, was ruled an accident. He was found on his bed, fully clothed, and there were no signs of trauma.
The Southlake, Texas., Police Department is investigating the death, and a statement from Skaggs’ family issued Friday mentions that an Angels employee may have some involvement.
The statement: “We are heartbroken to learn that the passing of our beloved Tyler was the result of a combination of dangerous drugs and alcohol. That is completely out of character for someone who worked so hard to become a Major League baseball player and had a very promising future in the game he loved so much.

His fault. Not China's not the drug dealer's . See the drug dealer isn't stupid enough to take a surgical opioid . He's not a doctor so he can flee ignorance. A millionaire with a new baby should be smart enough to google fentanyl and know it only belongs in the hands of an anesthesiologist. The family hired a lawyer what a joke.
