Also like the idea of backing the Angels based on them being the better team and hitting better AND the whole 6th game in a row thing.... but I would just play them ML. I might just for kicks and giggles put CLE and LAA in a 1 unit parlay and say fvck it.
Yeessir over the years it is strong...once again, playing blindly never best idea but using this knowledge as a part of your handicapping when looking at a matchup helps....
For instance this year so far ...
In interleague play, American League teams at home on the first game of the series are 10-5 SU (+240) at $100 bets... (one of the losses was -220 ( toronto vs. flo) and one was -170, so i like to filter to small home favs or dogs)

If the Brewers could get any decent pitching out of their bullpen they would be ahead in this game. But no. The idiot comes out and gives up a tape measure shot in the bottom of the 6th. Then he walks a couple more just to top things off. Everytime the Brewers rally to get back into the game, the bullpen gives up another run

The pitching is so watered down this year it makes it nearly impossible to make money betting on baseball.

            Yeah, thats ridiculous.

If you score 7 runs that should be more than enough to beat De Rosa, and Martinez.

Might not be the time to start talking about tomorrow, but I'm seeing 3 juicy dogs on the menu - CIN, TAM, and SFG. I'm definitely playing CIN. I could be talked out of the other two..... but CIN is probably getting booked tonight.

Look a little deeper on this one. CIN is coming home after a sweep in KC. The Braves aren't playing very well and are just an average club this year at best. The lineup is pretty impotent. Harang is on the hill and I think he found his mojo last time out. He's always pitched well against the Braves. Oh, and JJ's one start last year against the Reds he got rocked, plus he has an ERA over 5 his last 3 starts. ATL is 2-7 last 9 in CIN. The books are giving us CIN at plus money here...

                                                Need I go on?

The Braves aren't playing very well and are just an average club this year at best. The lineup is pretty impotent. Harang is on the hill and I think he found his mojo last time out. He's always pitched well against the Braves. Oh, and JJ's one start last year against the Reds he got rocked, plus he has an ERA over 5 his last 3 starts. The books are giving us CIN at plus money here...

No, trust me I thought about taking the Reds myself.. I'm just staying away from that game completely. Harang didn't really find his mojo.. I could have a good outing against the Nats. I'm with you though I like taking teams right after they get swept.

Its just hard to fade the better pitcher.

It's not like JJ is a Cy Young candidate or anything yet. I love the kid and the Braves are my team, but at this point in their respective careers it's hard to argue definitively that JJ is a better pitcher than Harang. In fact, I think most people would give the slight nod to Harang, imo.
