Check out the beard, that thing alone should be able to retire the rest of the Marlins.

Everyone fasten your seatbelts. It's gonna be a tough bottom of the 9th. you already know that someone is going to get on, because that's how baseball is. We just hope that he doesn't score, lol!

Wise move, imo. Plus the Twins haven't won 3 in a row on the road all year.

Big K! Hanley Ramirez bites the dust! One down, two more to go.

tigers are a better value, they are still on the board in my book -115. where else can you get a pitcher with 2.16 era and a .90 whip on the road for that price? the other AL games on the board are too close for me. i did add a small play on mets/phillies over 9.5.

Probably inches from a homer. Holy shnit.

Pujols makes a nice catch on the rail to end it. Whew!

also CK I agree with what you said on 1st page about pitcher ERA. it is a good stat but definitely not enough to hang your hat on. not even close. K's/BB ratio, whip, and a few others get factored in for me but in no formula that i am using do i even use ERA.

                                        Booked plays...GL

                                        LAA/TAM over 8.5 -128 (5 units)

Angels are killing lefties this year, so I trust they can put up 4 or 5 runs today. Rays are the highest scoring team in the AL and at home where they should score at least 5 to 6. The pitching names say under, but I feel this one goes over.

                                        PHI/NYM under 9.5 -111 (5 units)

Mets are struggling lately vs. lefties and Moyer has gone under in his last 4 starts. Phils have been going under a lot lately, especially on the road and haven't done as well vs. righties. The pitching names say over, but I feel this one goes under

                                        BOS +1.5 -118 (5 units)

Sabathia hasn't been great vs. the Red Sox over his career and we all know about the Yanks troubles winning vs. BOS. If the Yanks win today it won't be by much as their last 3 victories on the road vs. Bos have come by one run.

                                        SF +1.5 -138 (3 units)

The Giants are the hotter and better team right now. ARI also struggles at home, where as the Giants are surprisingly 6-2 in their last 8 on the road. Sanchez and Mad max have both struggled lately, so no advantage there. I wanted to take SF on the ML but I feel the plus 1.5 will leave me more cushion just in case.

Yeah, my favorite is the WHIP. I want to know how many walks and hits on average does a guy give up per inning. I never use ERA in my factoring. It can make you blind to the facts.

You already know what I'm gonna do. Duncan batting as the DH is only going to insulate Pujols and give him protection. Cardinals HEAVY again Friday. Their bats are in order.
