Does anyone have the rules on V2.0 system? I know there's a bet on Angels tonight that falls under that system. What makes it a systems bet?

At a certain point I will get tired of doing this for people so please don't be lazy. Read the posts. The link to the rules is readily available in past posts. This is supposed to be recreational but you're basically asking someone to do the work for you that you can just as easily do yourself. Contribute. Don't only be a consumer. Here you go:
V2.0 System UPDATE:
The update here is designed to allow you even more action during the course of the baseball season by increasing your wager on betting opportunities that have an exceptional probability of betting success.
The change to this new v2.0 system is that you want to increase your stake on the [b] level when these 2 criteria are met:
The change to this new v2.0 system is that you want to increase your stake on the [b] level when these 2 criteria are met:
1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home.
2. The [A] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more runs.
Similarly, you want to increase your stake on the [C] level when these 2 criteria are met:
1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home.
2. The [b] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more runs.
Here’s an example of the v2.0 system in action:
During the 2008 MLB baseball season, the Detroit Tigers played the Minnesota Twins on the road from May 2nd to May 4th and were swept in all 3 games.
On May 23rd, they began another 3-game series with the Minnesota twins, this time at home. Since the Detroit Tigers fell within the accepted .01 range of RPI disparity with the Minnesota Twins at the time, the series was good to go for betting.
Yet, on 5/23/08, Detroit lost to Minnesota again on the [A] bet by a score of 4-9. Since Detroit lost by at least 3 points at the [A] level, and since they’re playing at home, this would make the [b] bet to fall under the criteria for betting in the v2.0 MLB system.
This means that the next day, on May 24th, you should increase your wagering amount by at least two-fold. So, let’s say that you lost $150 on the [A] bet with Detroit. Instead of betting to win $250 (to attain a $100 profit for the series) as you normally would do, you can double up and bet to win $350 (to attain a $200 profit for the series).
Indeed, the Detroit Tigers came back the next day and completely annihilated Minnesota by their season-record score of 19-3!
Now, I want to note to you that you should of course still make all the bets according to the v1.0 system. However, when a situation arises that meets the criteria of the v2.0 betting system, you should then increase your wager on that betting level by at least twice or more.

What a great day of picks yesterday! System went 3-0! I guess the only hard part now is not betting until 6/17 when the next play is. I find that I've lost more money by betting during off days away from the system. Patience and discipline is the name of the game here. I told myself that I really wanted to make MLB betting profitable this season and through all the handicappers, services, forums and gut feelings, nothing has been consistent. However, I think this system is hitting upon something that can be very strong and the best thing is that we have access to it for free. Hopefully everyone can keep occupied until then.
v2.0 pick also hit with LAA. I don't know who wrote the rules but I wonder if they can be applied to teams who aren't home. It seems that the RPI margin is the strongest variable especially because usually higher RPI teams have a better away record anyway than the average team. Also, the margin of runs that the losing team lost by might be helpful to consider, too. TEX lost 5-14 on 6/13. It seems that most decent teams that lost by a wide margin tend to come back and win the next day. This thesis of course is not backed by anything but just something to consider going forward.
Lastly, I've started to keep v2.0 records only a few days ago but if anyone is willing to take up a small side project in going back to all of the previous series in seeing what v2.0 or v3.0 bets there were, I can update the records with that info. I don't think there were many bets that fit in either system so whoever decides to this probably can finish it up pretty quickly. Let me know via PM if you're interested in doing this! Thank you!

I remember coming across another system on another forum (Covers maybe?) that chased the good teams that lost by 5 or more runs. And conversely bet against the bad teams that won by 5 or more runs (also a chase). So there are others who agree with your thought process.

Baseball has always been my downer. I stoped betting baseball last year. But as far as that good team losing by several runs theory, you shouldn't even consider it until backtested thoroughly. And what parameters are you using to characterize a team to be a "good team"? Just being over .500, or are there other criteria as well?

I hear you. I meant "good team" in a soft way. But, if I had to really think about it I guess it could mean maybe top ten RPI teams or maybe if its like the #15 RPI team against the #28-30 RPI teams.
How do you backtest a theory without manually going through every single game? I know there are some stats databases that can be manipulated to produce backtested results but I don't readily have access to these nor do I have any experience in this arena.
In any event, I wasn't able to hold off from not betting until tomorrow as I laid a unit on CLE ML and 0.5u on 2H Seattle Storm +4 as per this guy:
TLDR - Bet OAK +1.5 (-140 Betonline). Bet the ML too if you're feeling frisky but remember, the official bet is on the RL unless OAK becomes the favorite before game time.
- I now see OAK +1.5 (-130 Betonline; -135 Bookmaker) and OAK ML (+125/+124 Betonline/Bookmaker last night vs +128/+127 Betonline/Bookmaker right now).
- I've seen this line moving in a more affordable direction enough times to think that maybe I should wait to place my bets the night before and just wait closer to game time.
- What do you guys think?

Another day, another dolla! The system rolls on with another win at the bet A level. OAK was up 2-1 going into the 9th, but LAA tied it up. Then OAK's Billy Burns was led by the magic of the system and hit a walk-off single to bring in the 3rd run.
Next plays up are on 6/24 and 6/28. These will be the final plays of June. This break will definitely feel long. A whole week! But, hold on to your bankrolls people! Don't go too hard on Game 7. I'll prob put a little bit on CLE but we shall see.
If anyone knows of any good MLB threads in this or other forums, please let me know. I'd be interested in taking a look. Thanks!

Because the Mets can't beat the lowly Braves, they are now eligible as a play for 6/23. For those impatient degens out there, the sweep system is back one day earlier this week than anticipated. Update to come later with RPI, home/away record stats, etc.
Alos, had to update the Unofficial (C) bet record to show one less win. This is because of the outstanding C bet for the MIN vs BAL series.

One play on deck for 6/23. Don't go too crazy because we got two more for 6/24 and two more after that on 6/27 and 6/28. However, given how bad ATL is it might be hard not to be aggressive this series especially where the prior series was so recent.

Of course, the Amazins lose Bet A and only by 1 run to one of the worst teams in baseball. I went a little bit harder than I should've but not too crazy. Oh well. Hopefully we can recoup today. Bet Bs in the official system are 5-2 so feel good about it.
We also have two more bets on deck which both seem stronger than the Mets B bet (but of course we're still betting that). Honestly though, the DET unofficial play seems the strongest out of all the games today b/c of the HOME advantage and the RPI margin being only .003 outside the filter to allow it to be an official play.
TLDR
- Bet NYM ML (-180 Bookmaker; -179 Betonline) to recover bet A losses and to win a unit or more for Bet B.
- Bet TOR ML (-140 Bookmaker; -141 Betonline) to win a unit (or whatever you want really)
- Bet DET RL (-170 Bookmaker/Betonline; +102 ML Bookmaker; -103 ML Betonline) to win cash money
*ML/RL prices above were observed at 10:44 AM EST.
EDIT - Looks like Bookmaker has DET as the favorite now at -108/DET -1.5 (+180) meanwhile Betonline has DET as the underdog at -101 ad DET +1.5 (-165). I'll probably just bet DET ML.

THOUGHTS
My Doc Goodens finally beat the damn Greg Madduxes for the first time in the last 6 games against them. I hope everyone recouped their losses and then some. I saw the price at -170 to -180, saw it drop to -150 to -160 then shoot back up to as high as -210 which is ultimately the price I got it at. It won so no biggie but I'm still trying to figure out when to find the best price.
Like the stock market, it's impossible to time it so what I have done in the past (didn't do here for some reason) is lay up to half of my bet at a price that I like or even at the opening price (in the event the opening price is the lowest I'll see) then lay the rest of my bet later on either regardless of whether it goes lower, higher or stays the same. That way I still have some upside of getting a better price and averaging down. Maybe this isn't the best way but you guys let me know what you think or what your strategy is.
The Jays and Tigers lost their Bet As so onto Bet B we go.
The Jays are a favorite according to VegasInsider.com opening at an average of -119 and moving to -131. I recognize that this bet has gone below .015 RPI margin threshold. I believe this still qualifies as an official series because the RPI margin just has to be .015 or greater on the day of the first game. If someone believes otherwise please let me know.
The Tigers are an underdog according to VegasInsider.com opening at an average of +117 and moving to +128.
Remember, the odds of each successive bet winning grows so the odds are in your favor for the team we're betting on. I'm not sure what the odds are for each level on average but any help from anyone in this area would be helpful.
TLDR - Bet TOR ML (-130 Bookmaker; -131 Betonline) to recoup Bet A loss and win at least a unit.
- Bet DET +1.5 (No RL offered yet in Bookmaker; -130 Betonline) to recoup Bet A loss and win at least a unit.

Yeah. It looks like it's his first start in a while. Was coming out of the bullpen since his 5/31 start (6ER in 3IP). Horrible. Oh, well. Gotta trust the system. I prob shouldn't have bet DET ML in addition to the RL.

THOUGHTS
The Blue Jays flew to a victory to add to the Sweep System stash of cash. I know, I know. I'm sounding more and more like a tout even though these aren't even my plays or system. Hopefully everyone is profiting though. Personally, I think I need to go harder on the official bet Bs. I just get a little anxious about so much cash being put on the same team that just lost. I have to trust the system more.
I guess what makes me scared is the fact that bet Bs can lose just as easily as bet As especially when it comes to unofficial plays, even if they are only a few RPI points outside of the margin allowed. CLE has been pretty hot lately and Anibal Sanchez sucks balls so it was the perfect storm of fade which I ignored. Damn. I know you're not supposed to play this way but I can't ignore the unofficial series records on bet As and Bs. It's a combined 13-24. Nice fade material or at the very least, just stay away until bet C. But, of course, just when you decide to do that unofficial bet As and Bs cash just like that which we have seen in the past.
Anyway, onto bet C for DET tomorrow. Good luck party peoples.
TLDR
- Bet DET ML (-121 Bookmaker; -124 Betonline) to recoup Bet A and B losses and win at least a unit.
6/26 AM EDIT Looks like DET became ML favorites with Verlander pitching. Still feel scared b/c CLE is on a roll but the system is the system for a reason. Be careful nonetheless people!
Also, I didn't realize this but not only did CLE beat DET the last series but the series before that, too. I can only imagine that this is bad for us DET backers but crazier things have happened than DET beating CLE after losing to them 8 times in a row. Don't mind me. Just trying to convince myself that I didn't just piss a lot of money down a hole.
From ESPN: --Cleveland took the first series from Detroit by scores of 2-1, 10-1 and 6-3. The second series was 7-3, 4-0, and 9-4.

I see another Detroit series loss. Tomlin on the mound and Clevland amazing right now on a hot streak. hard to trust system play on this one. Might stay away.

I wouldn't blame you. I gotta go all the way. I'm on bet C but def for a smaller win. Just trying to recoup losses at this pt. Hopefully I don't get murdered.
