there is no doubt some underlying problem with verlander i cant play him and was actually thinking of fading him each start but decided against it after seeing this.

his velocity is great this year as hes sitting 96mph. i havent watched him to tell you if hes topped 100, but i would think hes come close with an avg of 96. i still think there is something up with him injury wise. he has too good an arsenal to be struggling like he does.

on a side note - the dbacks barely covered for me today. i sure didnt expect the dbacks to once again give haren no support.

The Indians are the pick of the day. The Royals are 1-5 against lefties, are missing their young 3rd baseman, Gordon, as well as Guillen, sport a lineup filled with also rans and never weres, and Lee is primed to throw his first shutout of the year.

Indians in a walk ... although it should be close due to the fact Bannister, for some reason, pitches well against the Tribe and great against the hit machine, V Martinez.

Oh, yeah, I am a bit nuts that way, but when I tell people "This team is going to win" they lose ... when I say the opposite team is going to win, but still bet on the other team, things work out better. Makes absolutely no sense, but true nevertheless.

(like tonight, I have to write, till the end, I bet on the Tribe ... I will talk about my losses afterwards, however, like the 800 I dropped on the A's ML today in heartbreaking fashion )

thur-

its not going to be often that we'll get a chance to play the dodgers ace at such great value. both billingsley and rodriguez are off to solid starts to the season, and while i contemplated playing the under - the dodgers are 3-0 vs lefties this year which makes sense with guys like kemp, manny, martin all righties. billingsley has a 2.84/.98 era/whip in his last 3 starts, and the dodgers are 2-0 in games hes started at hou. last year, billingsley went 8ip, giving up no runs and in 2007 pitched a 2er complete game in texas. rodriguez is a great home pitcher, but he did get torched by the dodgers for 5er in 5inn last year at home.

no dex, just for the challenge, I have padres and reds on friday as a system play...those are heavy plays for me, I dont bet as much in MLB as I do in NBA on games. As far as system plays go I go heavy, my plays are lighter now..........unlike hoops

I would be using bad money management going heavy on all those

yeah should of cut that out, I have gone up to 3X on baseball this year, system plays are played 3X and up
