All the 1st innings were minus odds today except one game. Col/AZ is -140 on Bookmaker.

Hmmm....wonder if that will continue and how it will affect the payoff at the end of the season?

Don't worry. Just play them flat, without the extra vigorish. That's what i do. I want my 150 or so wins to count.

yea...I was under the assumption(having never played 1st innings) from CK's preseason blog that most 1st inning bets were + odds and the books would be paying us to make the bets...

Col/Az 1st inning did not cash at -140. I think these high-scoring games early in the season are why we're seeing minus odds so much.

I think that no one waited until May. You have a ton of guys teeing off on the run to score in the 1st in April from out of nowhere, and the lines get changed to handle the public's interest. I'm going to continue playing them flat. Why pay $140.00 for a forst inning prop? Just put your $100 on the -140 line and collect your scraps. I saw that the new players had a little bit of influence on the lines. That's why the thread was burned. To be honest i only look at the lines every now and then. I will be playing them once May 1st comes around. Flat rates applied

Hopefully over the course of the season the 150 or so wins will average out to around even money. I'll take -150 if I get 150 wins!

How stupid can people be to play it in April when the thread had numerous posts showing April is a losing month (and this one is no exception).

You wonder why so many people lose their ass gambling.

Discipline and Gambling are like Oil & Water for most.

I have a losing record, + units, and very much still feeling out the baseball season. I dropped my unit play, capped it at 2, and I'm going to ride it out for the next month or so.

agreed. i have been tracking through april and have played a few days only when trends have been in our favor. may 1st is when the real fun starts. flat betting is how i have done it, but have not had to pay more than -130 yet.

I just have to take the Tigers with line movment like this. Since it's a only a fun bet I have to try it out. I'm gonna back Verlander for the first time in over a year with this one.

hey kmarin..I notice you play alot of team totals. Any insight into Brewers over total of 3.5? I like them facing Blanton who is not consistent and lacks control

his stuff has gotten better, especially with some late movement. however he will never throw 100+ in a game ever again. probably better for his health and longevity though. i hope you cash it!

I don't too many parlays. I have no idea what to pair together to make one for you today. nonsense is out there, but chillin'. He got tired of all the bashing and what not going on around here. So he is doing it solo now. In a round about way I am going to be doing things the way he is doing them also. I'll be popping in every now and then with a play too.

Brewers eam total is a carfully planned and well thought out pick. I will have to throw a few shillings on that one.

Well Mafia bruthas and sistas......I took our 2 strongest consensus plays yesterday and that damn black cat jumped on my back again. Unfortunately they both lost.

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS.......I did NOT tail CK and he had a nice day indeed!

And now for the bad news again....lol.......I'm tailing CK tonight with MIA +5 and the NY METS.

I brought the black cat to a very good home with very nice people. They said they would not let him out of their sight.

Let's bang the book tonight!!!

You playing that Brewers run total then CK? I was talking to Rick22 and he said that his book at Greek has the total at 5 for brewers. I have it at 3.5. With that discrepancy, I think Im going to put more money on this play
