Holy shit. The Braves went from one of the most promising teams in the league the first 6 games to one of the biggest jokes after 10. I'm a Braves fan and I'll tell you right now, they're done. They don't have the bats and that bullpen is a fvcking fire hazard. Every single pitcher in that pen comes equipped with a 5 gallon gas can strapped to his back. It'll be fun to see them bring up their pups through the season, and the future is VERY bright....but they're done. In April. They're done.
Don't bet on them anymore. That bullpen is too dangerous. You just can't trust them to hold any lead even if you are in good shape late.Comment -

Yeah. Pitt's avenging a loss from a game that occurred before half their roster was in Jr high school. But you're right, I'm being irrational.
Pittsburgh matches up well with the Braves because the Braves have NO right handed threat especially with Chipper and Escobar out. I think CK was being a little proud when he said he'd still bet them knowing that and after the line moved waaaay the fvck to the Pirates over night. I think in his heart he knew this was a bad bet. I made it too so I got burned as well. But I won't get burned by this group again. They'll have some streaks to ride later but they're not a playoff contender.Comment -

Well I never forgot the Leyritz homer off Wohlers in '96 when the Braves were 5 outs away from 3-1 lead and 2 straight WS titles. The Yankees stole their destiny in that swing of the bat. Doesn't mean the Braves have anything on the Yankees since then. That game from 1991 has nothing to do with the Braves getting shut out tonight. I don't care if the fans still hurt.
