Boy oh Boy! Detroit really blew it for my day. I was positive they would win this game, bullpen has sucked. Oh well, 3 gamer wasnt too far off: KC had the lead in the 8th Mill won and NYM had their chance. Im going to look into todays games and be back shortly. ps. I did take the Celtics last night for a little Basketball action, lets just say it paid off.

No official record book for my parlays. I know that 3 and 4 game parlays are the surest way to lose money even if you make good picks, cause you can go 3 and 1 and still be on the losing end. I did alot of 2 and 3 gamers during football and basketball season, but mostly 4 gamers with SEC football games."Knew it the best" I will say this though, i try to play a little 2 gamer or 3 gamer every other day or so in baseball. I like to take the dogs in those also. If you pick 2 dogs at +150 (which have been winning lately) its equivalent to a 4 gamer. Ill play .25 a Unit to win 2.5 Units. Plus it makes it alot more interesting and you dont have to worry about your bank so much. Got any pointers?Comment -

Red Sox vs Tribe: I have looked at this matchup from every angle. Everyone on here and everywhere else points to the Tribe. I don’t quite get it. The Red Sox are HOTTTT. They just swept their biggest rivalry, they have won 10 straight, and they even let their runners steal home with the bases loaded vs the Yankees! I love it guys! They are having fun and playing baseball. This is a different team without Manny and they are starting to see it. They play like a team with with a bunch of teenagers. They are emotional and look for streaks like this. They are attention seekers still guys, they are not a bunch of veterans who know that they just swept the Yankees and look to just sit back tonight. They want the press, they want the publicity, they want to Win! Look for them to come out firing tonight! Lee is a good pitcher who has struggled so far this year, but I do not expect him to break this trend vs the Red Sox. At least not right now with them playing like they are.
TB vs Minn: Throwing for TB tonight is Jeff Niemann. He is 6 foot 9 and has some goodddd stuffff. In his last start, he didn’t allow a hit until the 5th vs Seattle last week, but got tired quickly and gave up 3 runs in the 9-3 W. He has some confidence now and that’s what makes this game look special. Scott Baker is going for Minn tonight. He is getting rocked this year and hasn’t lasted more than 5 so far. This could be a good game to look at the over, but if Niemann stays strong and the bullpens don’t let up to much, should just be a W for TB.
Wash vs Philli: Martis vs Blanton: Neither pitcher has been dominant and both did OK in their last starts. Look for a close game. With the Nats at +160, ill take my chances. The pick for this game is the Under for sure. Both pitchers are trying to find what they have been missing and neither offense is dominant, so look for a close game to stay under 10.
St. Louis vs ATL: Pineiro vs Jurrjens. Pineiro is looking very good and Jurrjens is looking even better. The total is 9. It stays under.
SD vs COL: Young vs Hammel. 2 very dominant pitchers. We could have 0’s on the board late in this one. Look for the Under at 10.

I have been looking at the Totals in the games alot closer over the last week or so and It seems like when the total is placed at 10 or more, It almost always goes over. I dont have the time to backtrack right now, but if anyone has any information on the % of winners when the Over/Under total is 10 or more, please lets look into this. Yesterday alone was 2-0-1 with some books haveing the total in the Texas game at 10, others may have been 10.5.Comment -
I dont have a lot of free time right now, but i looked into the Over/Under totals for the last week as it relates to what i was thinking about the total being double digits. When the Total is at 10 or more, the matchup has resulted in 19 Overs, 11 Unders, and 2 Pushs! After looking into it a little more, there is a trend that i think should draw attention. Since April 13, (the last 2 weeks, thats as far back as i had time to look at) the over/under has been set at 10 or higher in 45 games.
The Over has cashed in 54%
The Under has cashed in 37%
And Pushed 9%
So this means that over the last 2 weeks if you put 1 Unit on every game that is totaled at 10 or more, you would have profited +5.3 Units. Im just curious if anyone has looked into this. Some response please?Comment -

Completely agree with you about the Angels. Everyone "including myself" was all over Baltimore yesterday and the angels came through. They are still a good team, just had a lot of distractions in the early part of the season. Im looking into them and other matchups now, almost done. Why do you like Tor today? Burres usually pitches well late in the year and I have my doubts that Davies can contain Toronto the same way Greinke did. To me both of these pitchers are even, as are the bullpens. This Toronto lineup is rock solid top to bottom, as a Jays fan I wouldnt take a stab at them unless I felt really good about them today and at plus money I think its a tossup, so give me the +18 or so and I will ride the Jays hitters all the way to the pay out window.Comment -

Boston -115 vs Tampa Becket vs Garza: Just think that Sox have the "IT" factor right now. They were losing 5-0 after 5 last night in Clev and come back to win it 6-5. It is like clock work with them lately. They are producing when they need to and Tampa is on a downturn from the good start. Tampa took the first series from the Sox so look for Becket to come out looking good and the Sox to take control early for some revenge.
Brewcrew -110 hosting Dbacks The Brewcrew is hot right now. They are hitting the ball and pitchers are coming around. Look for a good pitching performance today and i expect to see the high"lites" of this one on sportscenter tonight when they show their mascot sliding down the 12 and up slide in left field after the HR's. Friday!!!!!! is a HEllllllaaa Goood Day! Lets hit it running today guys! Its a good weekend for sports lovers! We got some good baseball matchups, Kent Derby, Tiger and Phil leading after day one in some bs golf match, some retaliation probably this weekend after the big crash at TDaga last Sunday, Jose Conseco MMA debut (and yes, he was my favorite when he played,WHAT!!!!!! He could absolutely crush! I actually recall him hitting the back of the dome or something in Detroit when him and Fielder were taking shots together in the clubhouse), Bulls and Celtics game 7! I mean this could be the weekend you have to ask for a pass on doing the favors around the house and just sit back and pop a top.
