Pre-season dogs are right on schedule at exactly 50%, 44-44. Kind of weird in a way considering the lack of filters this early. These still aren't official bets but you are up units if you have been betting them.

We are looking at last years stats to an extent and don't put a lot of weight on this and taking the dog line and throwing darts. Hopefully the team where the dart hits will play most of their starting line-up. Educated guess work.

We're waiting for the season to start to get all our filters and we might have to wait a few days into the season to have them all. We tread lightly for awhile with these dogs.

We are just tracking and not betting any of these do to a lack of info.

They aren't trained yet.

We understand exactly what you guys are saying. Three years ago it was me saying, "Oh, no effing way, I'm never gonna bet that crap"! There are a few more games than usual due to a lack of filters but still we are over 50%., These are still being capped, just not like they'll be capped after the season starts. Plus, remember the most important part...we are just tracking these games, not betting them. How can you bet baseball when games end in a tie for hells sake? We will say that in view of this pre-season tracking things look promising. And if you have enough guts to bet these (unlike us) you're up units. A lot of angst with the dogs.

We are on Pacific time so right now for us it's 12:12pm lunch time. We try to post all games in the morning unless morning and evening games then sometimes they are posted separately but we'll say otherwise.
Like this morning, I posted all the dogs at 9 a.m. Pacific time and games started at 10 a.m. for Pacific time/1 p.m. Eastern time. If I remember right without going into our old thread, we post game time(using Eastern time) with the game as well as roster #

have you ever considered taking the run line instead of money line or is your strategy of staying away from juice the best way to go? i dont really watch enough baseball to know if enough dogs lose by only 1 to make it profitable. just thought id ask if the 2 of you have looked into it at all.

Irish, that's a good question. We tend to take the money line on these. We have bet 1,500 of these now and are roughly 750-750. Taking the run line with a dog would flip a lot of them into faves which you don't want. But God help us, we have been considering two teamers hooking up a total with a dog. We don't do parlay too often but they are tempting due to the payout. It's just that these dogs have been so solid over the years we're afraid to change them. And yes, LOTS of dogs lose by one in the ninth. Or by one run in general.

Update: Nice day, caution tomorrow if you are betting these games. We would suggest you cut back to a half unit because gr8 days are often followed with losses as the dogs seek to go back to their 50% level. This is just our advice but we don't tell people how to bet our games.

Also, thanks for the advise. You don't know how many stories I've known of people who get excited after a big day and increase their bet sizes, only to get burned afterwards, when things regress to the mean.
